@Mugai88 Kushina used to look down on him, there is a good chance she hit him too. but it's not like the fact that Sakura hits Naruto proofs anything. lots of chicks in Shounen do it to the guys they love. what are your thoughts on bits of Shounen romance? I think it's possible. ;)

Anyway in one of the most recent manga chapters one (random) guy confessed his crush for sakura but sakura said she loves someone else while thinking about sasuke...so i´m pretty sure sakura still loves sasuke :P

Sakura isn't over Sasuke though. In recent chapters, Sasuke is still in her thoughts, specifically after she told a guy who was hitting on her, that she is already in love with someone else. The guy said that "he" must be amazing, and she immediately thought of Sasuke. Sakura still doesn't love Naruto romantically and even after he tried to kill her, still loves him. It's pretty clear where Kishi is going with it.
@DanieltheSkeptic well then, if she does love sasuke as you say, then how to you explain her actions and thoughts when she first found out that Konoha was going to kill him? if she loves Saskue and only has friendly feelings for Naruto, then why didn't she care or at least THINK about Sasuke? all she thought about was how hard this was going to be for Naruto. can you explain this? not only that, but when Sakura thought of Sasuke was looked like she was about to burst into tears. o.x;

Yet she had a bunch of flashbacks when she wanted to stop Sasuke herself, out of love, otherwise, she would have let Konoha deal with it. Naruto is Sakura's teammate. They would die to protect each other, but in societies where comradeship is common, comrades live and die for each other. Romance is more explicit than that. And her thought was sad, because he's evil now, and that still breaks her heart. If she didn't love Sasuke, she wouldn't care.
Sakura is currently under the belief that Sasuke won't ever return. Which is why she agreed with it. It's not like she had a choice. (She did have a choice but she chose to stop Sasuke herself) Then there's the whole rivalry between Sakura and Ino, which drives her character, especially at a young age. Also, Kushina is far different than Sakura. Sakura was intended to be a stereotypical school girl that chases after the cool guys, as Kishi intended.
Kushina was never shown to be the type to be into the "cool" guys. (In flashbacks, Sakura is like the majority of the girls). NaruSaku most likely won't happen because not only is the NaruSaku thing not getting any build up (seems to be the opposite actually) There's the whole build up of Hinata having naruto's ninja way, and by extension, Jiraiya's nindo, in flashbacks, Hinata was the only one, when Naruto was a kid, who wanted him to do his best, in their age group.
And Hinata was one, if not the only girl their age that didn't have an interest in Sasuke, and had a deep admiration for Naruto, which turned into a Crush, then to love. She was the only one of his comrades to ignore his orders in an attempt to save him and wasn't afraid to face and die by Pain to save him. Seems pointless if Kishi isn't going anywhere with that. Sure, he didn't deal with her confession yet, but to reject her, he would still have to confront her about it.
Sorry for the mouthful, but youtube has limited space lol. But point is, Plot twists and such are meant to drive and deepen the story. Which is why Plot twists that don't go through with the build up, end up be anti-climactic. Kishi risks harming an aspect of the story if he builds something up, leaves the majority of his fans hoping for something, and then doesn't go through with it. Hence, why Authors never do anything in a story without reason.

Hinata didn't require Naruto to become something before She accepted him (and that is something he deeply wanted since childhood) Sakura's impression of Naruto (even now to a degree) is that he's obnoxious and an idiot. Sakura is not similar to Kushina. No one told Sakura (especially not Naruto) that they admired her forehead and then saved her from being kidnapped by the Hidden Cloud. And the only ones who thought Sakura was odd-looking were other girls.

Well the point of her being "alike" to Kushina is to give credence to NS because Kushina told Naruto to find a girl like her right? When Sakura has no distinguishing traits that make her like Kushina, especially not personality wise. So far the only thing I've noticed that makes NS "possible" is Naruto's crush on Sakura, which, noticably decreases as the series progresses (his crush was very noticable, as he constantly asked her out on dates and stuff)

Kushina's eyes (in the anime at least, as the Manga isn't typically colored) her eyes are grey. Her hair being red is a common hair color among Uzumaki clan members. Sakura hitting Naruto is for Comic relief and nothing more. Kushina immediately fell in love with Minato after realizing he wasn't the wimp and sissy she thought he was. Naruto saved the leaf and is a hero, and Sakura is still in love with Sasuke. Kushina beat her bullies up, Sakura was defended by Ino.

Either way, their eye colors are irrelevant. Kushina ans Sakura have more differences than similarities. Sakura's nindo isn't even mentioned. She doesn't state it as her ninja way. Actually both Naruto and Hinata like Red bean soup :P. That's not the same. Kushina got a nickname based on how she treated bullies. The points don't stand because the similarities are irrelevant. Her personality has been stated several times, to be like Tsunade's.
And Tsunade never accepted Jiraiya's advances. Oh and there was no 2nd woman. No she isn't. The prank episode was a filler, and let's not include fillers because that's where Sakura isn't present much. Sakura is nothing like Kushina. Her current personality was a result of her being changed. Besides, Naruto never acknowledged his mother's statement to find a girl like her. He answered her other two pieces of advice but gave no heed to the others.

this anime is about the new generation succeded over the old one.. Naruto will get the girl, becuase he will be able to do what Jiaraya couldn't. (=^_^=)
If you are going to bring up Kishi's decision, then again, his decision is influenced by the fanbase. Hinata is more popular than Sakura. And the way Kishi is going, there is a chance Sasuke will come back. What then? Naruto isn't about Romance. If Naruto gets the girl, it won't be a girl who shows no romantic interest in him and who is in love with someone else. Even though the main character getting the girl is an overused cliche, and I doubt Kishi will do romance period.
@DanieltheSkeptic I don't think it's a cliche, I think he is just following the Shounen Archetype. which is a really good way to show a story. he made it so the Hero would have to work at it to get the girl. and that that the girl would come to see him in a difrrent way, ( she used to think Naruto was a bully, but she was wroung...like I said, that proof goes back to the Henge Naruto as Sasuke(.. I really like the Shounen Archetype.. I watch it alot.. I think the pairings are great! ;3
He's already succeeded where Jiraiya couldn't. As an Author, Kishi can't use overused Cliches, like the main character getting the girl he's loved (not to mention Naruto's crush is only based on how he thought Sakura was pretty. After her "confession" he still called her Sasuke crazy). And again, don't ignore things. Hinata's acceptance of Naruto for who he was (which Sakura never did) is something Hinata has in common with Iruka, so why would Kishi write that in?

Kushina isn't and wasn't designed to be a shallow girl like Sakura was designed to be. Hell, Sakura was never intended to be the main heroine, and around the Pain arc, Kishi said Hinata makes a better heroine than Sakura. Writers don't put things into stories for no reason. Hinata's entire character is centered around Naruto, and this would literally have been a waste of time (not to mention piss off a lot of Hinata fans) if he wasn't going somewhere with it.

( in Japan. ) Hinata isn't shown alot in his Manga.. only the anime fans of Hinata are going to be upset.. Again, forgive any rudeness, my posts may imply. But I find several of my posts pointless because they haven't been addressed by you and they were points I was trying to make. If you are going to compare two things, you can't just give significance to the positives (similarities) and brush off differences as "they don't have to be exactly the same!" as it shows you clearly want something to happen, which such a thing heavily influences our perception.
If I were Kishi, and Naruto was going to get with Sakura, then I would realize all the time I spent on drawing and writing Hinata's character was pointless. Not to mention, why continue with thoughts about Sasuke, if Kishi isn't planning something? It serves no purpose, can cause a backlash within his fanbase, could end up in him having wasted time. For example. Kishi could have made Sakura jump in to try and save Naruto (pain fight), rather than Hinata, but he didn't.
Kishi could have just saved a lot of time by not even having Hinata as a character (a love triangle is not a part of of the plot at all so it would effect the story) and have Sakura try and save Naruto, during his fight with Pain, rather than Hinata. He shouldn't have bothered putting Hinata in a flashback where she was the only one who told Naruto to do his best (even though he was an outcast, and was considered a loser by everybody else in the class) All pointless right?
Kushina likes Ramen, Sakura isn't much of a fan. Kushina never liked the cool guys and wanted to become the First Female Hokage, Sakura had no such ambition. Kushina has a similar verbal tic as Naruto, Sakura has no tic whatsoever, and again, her "Cha!" is for comic relief. Kushina was very self confident, and her favorite phrase was "don't give up until the end" (according to the Databook) something Sakura doesn't share, but Hinata does.
@DanieltheSkeptic how do you know Kushina's wasn;t used for comic relief? why don;t we agree that they both have verbal ticks..since you brought it up^^; I don't see why Sakura has to love Ramen...HInata doesn't like the stuff either..and she still counts..<__<; your wroung, Sakura Nindo is like Naruto's, she says she doesn't like to give up , and is often quoted talking about protecting someone.
And again. Kushina's change of mind lead to immediate romance. Sakura still has no such thing. Sakura's change of mind, simply changed to him being "hopeless" to "competent" and Sakura's opinion of Naruto was that he was an idiot and annoying. Kushina's opinion of Minato was that he looked girly and also looked like a wimp. Kushina was also of a different team than Minato. There are more differences than similarities between them.

Sakura's confession wasn't a real one, and Naruto knew that. Naruto even said afterwards that Sakura is crazy for Sasuke. He even said that his promise to her isn't all that important to him anymore and that he wants to bring back Sasuke for his own reasons. Naruto already stated he likes people like Hinata (it is assumed he meant the confident, don't go back on your word type) and her Nindo is one she shares with Naruto and his beloved Master, Jiraiya.

And Sakura technically hasn't been there for Naruto one bit (not emotionally). She may have been PHYSICALLY there, but as Sai stated (although he misread since Naruto didn't care about the promise as much as Sai made it out to be) that Sakura's desire to see Sasuke is a source of Naruto's pain. He wants to make her Happy (according to Sai). Hinata's personality before Shippuuden is arguably the main reason why they aren't very close friends, since Hinata always liked him.
@DanieltheSkeptic now this is untrue on many levels... when Jairaya was killed it was Sakura ( first Shikamaru...) but later the only girl to comfort him was Sakura. to say that she doesn;t care for how Naruto feels is a outright lie. we must not be reading the same manga if you truely think that. ._.
When did Sakura comfort Naruto after Jiraiya died? As far as the events went, there was no scene where she was comforting him by himself out of love. It's not a matter of her "not" caring. She does. The point is, she shows no greater concern than Naruto's other male comrades. Hinata so far, is the only one that went beyond the comrade zone in order to protect him from Pain (at least among their age group)

You mean the scene where Naruto was down because Tsunade was in a coma and she told him to cheer up? And she thought to herself that she's the one that needs cheering up? They were sitting on a sort of bench, but they don't visit the wave country in the manga after Pain's attack.

She doubted herself though. She asked herself why is she cheering Naruto up, when she needs cheering up. The thought that his feelings were more important isn't mentioned. Her anger resulted in her nickname, which Naruto used to call himself the "Orange Hokage" making a reference to Minato's hair color. Sakura changed because of Naruto's influence yes, but so has everyone. Her inherent personality is nothing like Kushina.

Then stop it. You've ignored my 3 posts on their differences. And you ignore the fact that Sakura was changed by 1: Ino (she was pathetic before her friendship) 2: Naruto and Sasuke 3: Tsunade. They have nothing in common other than minor things that many characters have in common. Besides, Kushina never abused Minato.

All of Sakura's "similarities aren't her own acquirements or traits. Her anger (not the very common self defense aspect of being a Ninja, the anger that Jiraiya mentioned was exactly like Tsunade's) was inherited from Tsunade, her personality changed after she was befriended by and defended by Ino. And a relationship, especially a fictional one usually isn't determined by these little things. They are determined, a lot by the fan base actually.
Since you only look at the similarities, again here are the MAJOR differences. Kushina's traits were primarily her own, unlike Sakura's whom she was influenced by several people (Sakura was a shallow girl in the beginning, as Kishimoto intended her to be, but changed throughout the story) Kushina fell in love with the man she was wrong about IMMEDIATELY, Sakura hasn't, even LONG after he proved her beliefs wrong. Kushina suffered loss, Sakura didn't.
What you said won't sink in, because your similarities are inaccurate. You are attributing Sakura's changes to her own traits which she never had, which is unlike Kushina. Kushina lost her village and home, Sakura experienced no heavy loss. Kushina NEVER acted like a typical real world girl obsessed with the cool guy, unlike Sakura. Don't expect to convince me, if you only look at confirmatory evidence, and ignore what proves you false (confirmation bias).
It is implied that Sakura still loves Sasuke, due to her thinking about him after a topic regarding her love life. She never said she stops loving him (in a sincere manner, as her confession was fake) I find it unlikely that after Naruto became the hero of the leaf and practically a legend that she would later fall in love with him, since she hasn't yet. And there are no signs their comradeship (Naruto talks more about Team 7 being together than about Sakura) will be anything more.

She thinks of him as a teammate and Comrade. Any romantic feelings towards her, decreased as Shippuuden progressed. He even stated that the promise between him and her isn't important anymore, as he wants to bring Sasuke back, coupled with the fact that naruto's resolve to save Sasuke has been renewed thanks to Itachi.
Kushina's similarities are irrelevant, because her key traits (their looks don't matter since they aren't related) are Naruto's traits, because most of his personality was inherited from her. Sakura's inherent traits vastly differ. It wasn't until after Sakura realized how strong Naruto became that she realized she needed to stop relying on Naruto and Sasuke as to not become a burden, THIS is what changed her. But those aren't traits she's always had.
But to end my argument, Hinata was too shy, which is the only reason why she never approached Naruto. Naruto (during the academy and before he became a part of Team 7) he wanted to be acknowledged, and wanted to have friends (which is why Iruka is so important to him) Hinata was shown to be the only one, in their age group to treat Naruto the same way. In Naruto's flashback, while every girl was gawking as Sasuke, she told him to do his best. That isn't a minor thing you know.
Sakura acknowledge Hinata loved Naruto (while she was being healed during Naruto vs Pain) and Hinata's entire character development is centered around Naruto. Which is why She shares the exact same Nindo. Her shyness and Naruto's obliviousness is the main reason why He never noticed (except during his fight with Neji, when she was a key factor in his grudge against Neji), hell, she even cheered him up, when he said he wasn't being himself (which lead to the compliment)
Forgive me if I sound blunt, but to consider the possibility of something, one must seek disconfirmatory evidence, rather than confirmatory (technically if one only seeks confirmatory evidence, they can prove anything, regardless of what it is) and in situations like this, you have to separate the most likely outcome from what you desire to be true. I tried to do this, because making manga/anime predictions is fun. :)
Correction. Her eyes are blue in the anime, but green in the manga. I sometimes confuse them, like the Rinnegan, as the light purple color almost looks grey.
Also, last note lol :). Kushina beat the boys who made fun of her "half to death" while Sakura was too sad to do anything. Sakura's violence was "inherited" from Tsunade, as before her training under her, she wasn't violent.

I can counter this.. when Konahamaru said something about her she got mad and punched Naruto ( this was back before she cut her hair btw.) not sure if I remember they whole thing.. i know in the anime she hit the kids too... but that might have been filler... also in the wave arc, some guy tried to pickpoket some money off Sakura, and she side kicked him so hard he landed OUTSIDE the shop. so no...Sakura was always violent. :P

..... I'm usually amused by antics like this but that slap was not even justifed. Sakura's reaction is waaay over the top (as always). Why does Naruto even like her? She's way too violent, she's hung up on another guy and she can't cook. I hope Naruto and Sakura keep a platonic relationship.
If I were to venture a guess, it was because Sakura found him to be very handsome at that moment, coupled with the fact he was holding her in such an intimate way really scared her, because Naruto and handsome seems to be going against the laws of nature or something for her I guess. But she only said the latter part as her excuse.

Sakura isn't over Sasuke though. In recent chapters, Sasuke is still in her thoughts, specifically after she told a guy who was hitting on her, that she is already in love with someone else. The guy said that "he" must be amazing, and she immediately thought of Sasuke. Sakura still doesn't love Naruto romantically and even after he tried to kill her, still loves him. It's pretty clear where Kishi is going with it.

Yet she had a bunch of flashbacks when she wanted to stop Sasuke herself, out of love, otherwise, she would have let Konoha deal with it. Naruto is Sakura's teammate. They would die to protect each other, but in societies where comradeship is common, comrades live and die for each other. Romance is more explicit than that. And her thought was sad, because he's evil now, and that still breaks her heart. If she didn't love Sasuke, she wouldn't care.

Sakura is currently under the belief that Sasuke won't ever return. Which is why she agreed with it. It's not like she had a choice. (She did have a choice but she chose to stop Sasuke herself) Then there's the whole rivalry between Sakura and Ino, which drives her character, especially at a young age. Also, Kushina is far different than Sakura. Sakura was intended to be a stereotypical school girl that chases after the cool guys, as Kishi intended.

Kushina was never shown to be the type to be into the "cool" guys. (In flashbacks, Sakura is like the majority of the girls). NaruSaku most likely won't happen because not only is the NaruSaku thing not getting any build up (seems to be the opposite actually) There's the whole build up of Hinata having naruto's ninja way, and by extension, Jiraiya's nindo, in flashbacks, Hinata was the only one, when Naruto was a kid, who wanted him to do his best, in their age group.

And Hinata was one, if not the only girl their age that didn't have an interest in Sasuke, and had a deep admiration for Naruto, which turned into a Crush, then to love. She was the only one of his comrades to ignore his orders in an attempt to save him and wasn't afraid to face and die by Pain to save him. Seems pointless if Kishi isn't going anywhere with that. Sure, he didn't deal with her confession yet, but to reject her, he would still have to confront her about it.

Sorry for the mouthful, but youtube has limited space lol. But point is, Plot twists and such are meant to drive and deepen the story. Which is why Plot twists that don't go through with the build up, end up be anti-climactic. Kishi risks harming an aspect of the story if he builds something up, leaves the majority of his fans hoping for something, and then doesn't go through with it. Hence, why Authors never do anything in a story without reason.

Hinata didn't require Naruto to become something before She accepted him (and that is something he deeply wanted since childhood) Sakura's impression of Naruto (even now to a degree) is that he's obnoxious and an idiot. Sakura is not similar to Kushina. No one told Sakura (especially not Naruto) that they admired her forehead and then saved her from being kidnapped by the Hidden Cloud. And the only ones who thought Sakura was odd-looking were other girls.

Well the point of her being "alike" to Kushina is to give credence to NS because Kushina told Naruto to find a girl like her right? When Sakura has no distinguishing traits that make her like Kushina, especially not personality wise. So far the only thing I've noticed that makes NS "possible" is Naruto's crush on Sakura, which, noticably decreases as the series progresses (his crush was very noticable, as he constantly asked her out on dates and stuff)

Kushina's eyes (in the anime at least, as the Manga isn't typically colored) her eyes are grey. Her hair being red is a common hair color among Uzumaki clan members. Sakura hitting Naruto is for Comic relief and nothing more. Kushina immediately fell in love with Minato after realizing he wasn't the wimp and sissy she thought he was. Naruto saved the leaf and is a hero, and Sakura is still in love with Sasuke. Kushina beat her bullies up, Sakura was defended by Ino.

Either way, their eye colors are irrelevant. Kushina ans Sakura have more differences than similarities. Sakura's nindo isn't even mentioned. She doesn't state it as her ninja way. Actually both Naruto and Hinata like Red bean soup :P. That's not the same. Kushina got a nickname based on how she treated bullies. The points don't stand because the similarities are irrelevant. Her personality has been stated several times, to be like Tsunade's.

If you are going to bring up Kishi's decision, then again, his decision is influenced by the fanbase. Hinata is more popular than Sakura. And the way Kishi is going, there is a chance Sasuke will come back. What then? Naruto isn't about Romance. If Naruto gets the girl, it won't be a girl who shows no romantic interest in him and who is in love with someone else. Even though the main character getting the girl is an overused cliche, and I doubt Kishi will do romance period.

@DanieltheSkeptic I don't think it's a cliche, I think he is just following the Shounen Archetype. which is a really good way to show a story. he made it so the Hero would have to work at it to get the girl. and that that the girl would come to see him in a difrrent way, ( she used to think Naruto was a bully, but she was wroung...like I said, that proof goes back to the Henge Naruto as Sasuke(.. I really like the Shounen Archetype.. I watch it alot.. I think the pairings are great! ;3

He's already succeeded where Jiraiya couldn't. As an Author, Kishi can't use overused Cliches, like the main character getting the girl he's loved (not to mention Naruto's crush is only based on how he thought Sakura was pretty. After her "confession" he still called her Sasuke crazy). And again, don't ignore things. Hinata's acceptance of Naruto for who he was (which Sakura never did) is something Hinata has in common with Iruka, so why would Kishi write that in?

Kushina isn't and wasn't designed to be a shallow girl like Sakura was designed to be. Hell, Sakura was never intended to be the main heroine, and around the Pain arc, Kishi said Hinata makes a better heroine than Sakura. Writers don't put things into stories for no reason. Hinata's entire character is centered around Naruto, and this would literally have been a waste of time (not to mention piss off a lot of Hinata fans) if he wasn't going somewhere with it.

If I were Kishi, and Naruto was going to get with Sakura, then I would realize all the time I spent on drawing and writing Hinata's character was pointless. Not to mention, why continue with thoughts about Sasuke, if Kishi isn't planning something? It serves no purpose, can cause a backlash within his fanbase, could end up in him having wasted time. For example. Kishi could have made Sakura jump in to try and save Naruto (pain fight), rather than Hinata, but he didn't.

Kishi could have just saved a lot of time by not even having Hinata as a character (a love triangle is not a part of of the plot at all so it would effect the story) and have Sakura try and save Naruto, during his fight with Pain, rather than Hinata. He shouldn't have bothered putting Hinata in a flashback where she was the only one who told Naruto to do his best (even though he was an outcast, and was considered a loser by everybody else in the class) All pointless right?

Kushina likes Ramen, Sakura isn't much of a fan. Kushina never liked the cool guys and wanted to become the First Female Hokage, Sakura had no such ambition. Kushina has a similar verbal tic as Naruto, Sakura has no tic whatsoever, and again, her "Cha!" is for comic relief. Kushina was very self confident, and her favorite phrase was "don't give up until the end" (according to the Databook) something Sakura doesn't share, but Hinata does.

And again. Kushina's change of mind lead to immediate romance. Sakura still has no such thing. Sakura's change of mind, simply changed to him being "hopeless" to "competent" and Sakura's opinion of Naruto was that he was an idiot and annoying. Kushina's opinion of Minato was that he looked girly and also looked like a wimp. Kushina was also of a different team than Minato. There are more differences than similarities between them.

Sakura's confession wasn't a real one, and Naruto knew that. Naruto even said afterwards that Sakura is crazy for Sasuke. He even said that his promise to her isn't all that important to him anymore and that he wants to bring back Sasuke for his own reasons. Naruto already stated he likes people like Hinata (it is assumed he meant the confident, don't go back on your word type) and her Nindo is one she shares with Naruto and his beloved Master, Jiraiya.

And Sakura technically hasn't been there for Naruto one bit (not emotionally). She may have been PHYSICALLY there, but as Sai stated (although he misread since Naruto didn't care about the promise as much as Sai made it out to be) that Sakura's desire to see Sasuke is a source of Naruto's pain. He wants to make her Happy (according to Sai). Hinata's personality before Shippuuden is arguably the main reason why they aren't very close friends, since Hinata always liked him.

When did Sakura comfort Naruto after Jiraiya died? As far as the events went, there was no scene where she was comforting him by himself out of love. It's not a matter of her "not" caring. She does. The point is, she shows no greater concern than Naruto's other male comrades. Hinata so far, is the only one that went beyond the comrade zone in order to protect him from Pain (at least among their age group)

Her anger resulted in her nickname, which Naruto used to call himself the "Orange Hokage" making a reference to Minato's hair color. All of Sakura's "similarities aren't her own acquirements or traits. Her anger (not the very common self defense aspect of being a Ninja, the anger that Jiraiya mentioned was exactly like Tsunade's) was inherited from Tsunade, her personality changed after she was befriended by and defended by Ino. And a relationship, especially a fictional one usually isn't determined by these little things. They are determined, a lot by the fan base actually.

Since you only look at the similarities, again here are the MAJOR differences. Kushina's traits were primarily her own, unlike Sakura's whom she was influenced by several people (Sakura was a shallow girl in the beginning, as Kishimoto intended her to be, but changed throughout the story) Kushina fell in love with the man she was wrong about IMMEDIATELY, Sakura hasn't, even LONG after he proved her beliefs wrong. Kushina suffered loss, Sakura didn't.

What you said won't sink in, because your similarities are inaccurate. You are attributing Sakura's changes to her own traits which she never had, which is unlike Kushina. Kushina lost her village and home, Sakura experienced no heavy loss. Kushina NEVER acted like a typical real world girl obsessed with the cool guy, unlike Sakura. It is implied that Sakura still loves Sasuke, due to her thinking about him after a topic regarding her love life. She never said she stops loving him (in a sincere manner, as her confession was fake) I find it unlikely that after Naruto became the hero of the leaf and practically a legend that she would later fall in love with him, since she hasn't yet. And there are no signs their comradeship (Naruto talks more about Team 7 being together than about Sakura) will be anything more.

She thinks of him as a teammate and Comrade. Any romantic feelings towards her, decreased as Shippuuden progressed. He even stated that the promise between him and her isn't important anymore, as he wants to bring Sasuke back, coupled with the fact that naruto's resolve to save Sasuke has been renewed thanks to Itachi.

Kushina's similarities are irrelevant, because her key traits (their looks don't matter since they aren't related) are Naruto's traits, because most of his personality was inherited from her. Sakura's inherent traits vastly differ. It wasn't until after Sakura realized how strong Naruto became that she realized she needed to stop relying on Naruto and Sasuke as to not become a burden, THIS is what changed her. But those aren't traits she's always had.

But to end my argument, Hinata was too shy, which is the only reason why she never approached Naruto. Naruto (during the academy and before he became a part of Team 7) he wanted to be acknowledged, and wanted to have friends (which is why Iruka is so important to him) Hinata was shown to be the only one, in their age group to treat Naruto the same way. In Naruto's flashback, while every girl was gawking as Sasuke, she told him to do his best. That isn't a minor thing you know.

Sakura acknowledge Hinata loved Naruto (while she was being healed during Naruto vs Pain) and Hinata's entire character development is centered around Naruto. Which is why She shares the exact same Nindo. Her shyness and Naruto's obliviousness is the main reason why He never noticed (except during his fight with Neji, when she was a key factor in his grudge against Neji), hell, she even cheered him up, when he said he wasn't being himself (which lead to the compliment)

I can counter this.. when Konahamaru said something about her she got mad and punched Naruto ( this was back before she cut her hair btw.) not sure if I remember they whole thing.. i know in the anime she hit the kids too... but that might have been filler... also in the wave arc, some guy tried to pickpoket some money off Sakura, and she side kicked him so hard he landed OUTSIDE the shop. so no...Sakura was always violent. :P

That's not the same as beating kids who made fun of her "half to death". Besides, Kushina is a "motor mouth" according to Minato and she enjoys pranks, both of these things Naruto inherited, and the former being one of the things she found very annoying about him. The only time, others noticed her violent tendencies was during and after Tsunade's training. Some even commented on how she's a "mini Tsunade".

That's not the same as beating kids who made fun of her "half to death". Besides, Kushina is a "motor mouth" according to Minato and she enjoys pranks, both of these things Naruto inherited, and the former being one of the things she found very annoying about him. The only time, others noticed her violent tendencies was during and after Tsunade's training. Some even commented on how she's a "mini Tsunade".

If I were to venture a guess, it was because Sakura found him to be very handsome at that moment, coupled with the fact he was holding her in such an intimate way really scared her, because Naruto and handsome seems to be going against the laws of nature or something for her I guess.
