Hey Mark, I really want to get these but I have some concerns. The first one is; If you have two flashes in a single group, will the output of the two flashes be the same? Or are they variable depending on the distance of the subject to the flash?

Why my TT1 doesn't fire the 380ex when it's on the hot shoe, while 580exII is mounted on the TT5? 580exII fires, but I can't make the 380ex work.

My setup is:

Canon 5d + TT1 + 380ex / TT5 + 580exII

The model's beauty aside.......there was a time, when good lighting was subtle, and that a skilled photographer tried to make the shot appear as if it were not lit by flash or strobes .........this was part of the skill.........I see this as great technology, but really used in a heavy handed way (at least in this video)

what if you shoot canon body,but use nikon.sigma,vivitar flashes

It won't work, just like that you put a Nikon speedlite on a Canon body, won't work.

you have Nikon CLS where your built in flash will trigger the SB 800 off camera!

Custom Menu and look at flash/bracketing.

Use the on board flash as commander.

Save your cash. This system is junk. Using a 580 flash TT1 and Fkex5 we got a hit and miss range of only 20 ft.

If you live in the US PW are sending out some kind of RF filter to and fix the problems but if you you live in Canada you are told tough luck. We had to return ours to store for refund.

I'd like to comment on the Infra-Red canon sync unit... it says in the video that its Line-of-sight, well technically thats true but in practice its not entirely correct! I use my infra-red sync outside all the time in all conditions and usually behind (but not totally obscured) large concrete posts etc.. and it still works. Im interested in these PW units but in the UK its well over £400 for he pair! That doesnt justify losing the infra red with its performance.

it does not have 2nd curtain sync and it has a reduced range. i'm waiting for something better

Autumn this year. They're having problems with compatibility with the Canon version and are taking more time to test the nikon one before releasing it.

if you want to do all settings you have to manuel flash... thats just a obscure algorythm.

but it makes it easy for everybody to capture nice pics.
