  • SLAP SOME LIGHTS ON THAT PLANE

  • cool parachute and 3 blade prop!

  • @nandyg1 : Thanks for commenting! It's a lot of fun still to this day!

  • coool!!

  • where did you buy parachute ?

  • @realmavi : The Gi Joe is from Toys R Us. The Orange One was purchased from our local Hobby Shop. Thanks for the question and viewing.

  • Wow very nice, how much plane costs..?

  • @nemanjagrujic1 : This is Parkzone T-28 Trojan. I believe current price is somewhere around $250.00 The flaps and pop up canopy are a custom mod I made. Thanks for watching and the question!

  • Awesome Mod. I will do this with my Parkzone T-28

  • @rcplaneflyer100 : Great fun for kids and adults of all ages. The things that you can drop from it..... Muhahahaha

  • great job , very cool

  • were did you get the plane from

  • @wayne0ate0ur0cat : It's Parkzone. You can order online from horizonhobby

  • Thats a big speed brakes

  • That's just SO awsome!!!

  • @MrFlight97 : Thanks man! Still enjoying this plane to this day.

  • cool

  • I've heard a lot of people talking about the flaps they add onto their T-28s. Where do you get the flaps from? I looked on Hobby Zone's website and didn't see them. Thanks for your response, and great videos!

  • rcredbaron where did you get your orange parachute man from

  • @MrBmxboys123 : I picked it up at my local hobby shop, but can also order online. Google Aeromax2000 parachute. You'll find them on amazon and other sites. I've also Sent you a direct message with the link where I order them from at customercraze (.) /AERO03.html

  • @RCRedBaron thanks heeps dude

  • where did you get the parachute man form the orange one

  • great video I love this plane.

  • what prop is on this?

  • Comment removed

  • which do you like more the corsair or the t28? thanks

  • @pizzadudemandude : Thats a tough question. I like what I can do for mods on the T-28, but I love the way the Corsair flys and looks. So if I could only buy 1, and didnt have either of them, I guess I would get the corsair. But thats a close call.

  • @RCRedBaron i thanks cause i like the corsair too

  • @RCRedBaron what? wow usually people would say the t28 over the corsair. u said the corsair flies better? why do you think that? ive heard the corsair slows down better but the controls are better. not trying to pick at yu, just trying to get some info as im saving my cash and im looking forward to one of the parkzone planes

  • @mxf7010g8k : Its a tough choice. I would choose one based on which you like better on the looks. The electronics are the same. I can do more mods to the T-28, like Flaps and Popup Canopy. But, when Im doing super low inverted tail dragging stunts, I prefer the Corsair. It's a bit more stable. But again, It's a close choice. I know I fly my corsair more than the T-28 simply because I can do a bit more wild stunts with it. But the choice is close. Plus, I like the look more of the corsair.

  • @mxf7010g8k : Notice, I keep saying the choice is close. It really is. I love both and would hate to have to choose one over the other, but if forced, based on the amount of flying I do between the two, I'd go with my corsair. I like the way it flys, and love the look more than the T28. I've been flying the T-28 for 2 years and the Corsair for what? a bit over a year? I forget when It was released, but had it first day released.

  • @RCRedBaron your not making my decision any easier..... man u r mean LOL!

  • you fags and your little toys jeeze get a fucking life or atleast a girlfriend.

  • Well done my friend that is cool. I have an idea for you.

Put a venom HD camera on your parachute guy for the drop.

Check them out at Venom rc .

  • @IMRKJMSBITCH : you know, I have a mini pocket cam that would be perfect for that. Im going to have to try it. Get a view from inside and falling. Thanks !!

  • fag

  • Riddle I just got off the phone with your mom.

she said to shut your suck hole

come up with a better video.... Wang!

  • funny

  • I used to have a parachute guy like that... except I lost him. I used to throw him off the balcony. I have always wanted to make an airplane that can do that, and I think I'm going to get a 2.4 GHz setup 5 channel. I'll put it on a giant foam airplane I have! I've RC'd my giant foam airplane before, but it didn't work well, but it was the setup's fault (the motor was too weak). No, I have a couple of stronger motors in my basement. (BTW, this foam airplane has about a 3 and a half foot wingspan)

  • well done

  • why you picking on orange people??? why not call him organically challenged...LOL cool video..love the music

  • Wow,

Im suprised of your canopy-construction, works well ;)

    Cheers, too.

    :)

  • Could you do a video or show photo's of your canopy opening mod? Is it in any of the forums?

Great idea, would like to do it as well. Cheers

  • Check the Video Response above. It is my video showing basically how I made the Mod. Thanks

  • Thanks I didn't see that there.

    Excellent mod and excellent video.

    Cheers

  • nice flap mod, was it worth the time and effort? ive got a t-28 but i almost dont see a need for flaps

  • I totally love the T-28 with the Flaps on it. Unless Im going for speed, I fly with the Flaps on, even inverted. I do turn them off when Im going for speed flights, otherwise, I almost always just leave them on, especially when carrying parachuters.

  • Oh really? thats interesting. you just enjoy the extra lift provided bu the flaps? how much flap do you use? is it like fully down or just a bit when you are flying normally? thanks

  • I have my flaps on a 3 position switch, so I switch from 22 to 45 degrees of Flaps. It does help with the lift and allows me to go much slower and more stable at the slower speed. If you like speed, you don't need them, but if you are looking for slow speed, quick lift off, and slow landings, the flaps really are a joy!

  • Did you set this model up with a three bladed prop? What size prop did you use?

  • Yes I put a 3-blade prop on the T-28. It's not as fast as the stock 2-blade, but it gives it more scale appearance and I like the increased thrust. The prop is a Master Airscrew 10x7. Thanks for watching and question.

  • great vid cool plane, cool thing done to the plane, and cool song

  • thats is awesome!

why dont you build an ejection seat next. that would be even better.

    Goose watch the canopy!

  • Thank you so much.

I will try with the trim.

I pushed the battery until the end. I called horizon and they said me that I have to add some weight in the nouse but, Am I suppose to do that?? It is a brand new plane.

I will try with the trim, Thank you so much for your help.

  • Hi.

    I just got a t-28 and I have a problem:

When I am flying the nouse goes up by itself and goes into a loop. When I have the plane on ground and the stick in neutro, the tail seems be right. It is really hard to control because I have to keep the elevator up to keep the plane streight. Can you help me, please??

    Thank you.

  • It could be the battery. Make sure the battery is pushed as far forward as it will go in the slot. If the battery is too far back, it will cause the plane to be tail heavy. You can also adjust the TRIM setting on the transmitter to dial in some down elevator as you are flying. Do the battery thing first. Then take off, as you are flying, move the trim lever forward a little at a time until you get the desired level flight. Let me know how this goes, and we'll take it from there.

  • haha that's cool!

  • I might have to try that. That's a pretty cool idea.

  • Thanks for watching and the comment. The Kids love it. They chase the parachuter down.

  • cool, wouldn't the canopy also act as an air brake?

  • Sure does.

  • is the the corsair 3 blade prop fitted to your t28 ? and how does it compare to the 2 blade stock prop (apart from looking good! )

  • You can use the Corsair 3blade prop since both the T-28 and Corsair are the exact same motor. Same Part#.

However, I am using a Master AirScrew 10X7 3blade Prop. Much more sturdy and holds up much longer. Wont bend or flex as easy. Takes a major impact to break or bend the Master Airscrew Prop. Thanks for Watching and Commenting!

  • i saw this vid and had to make one myself, mines a little more ghetto though

  • Cool!! Did you get it on Video? Share with a Tube Friend!!!

  • The motor should not just stop. it should start pulsing when it gets low but I don't think it should just cut. check your ESC manual.

  • That would depend on what the ESC is programmed for, a Hard or Soft Cut off. The Stock ESC should be set for Soft Cutoff, and as you said, it should pulse, warning of pending low voltage. A Hard Cutoff however, just gets to low voltage, and BAM, no motor.

  • An Aileron Servo going out wouldnt cause the motor to shut off, but it would cause a loss of control. If the motor shut off, then you might have been out of battery, but you should have still had enough juice to control the plane down to a landing.

It sounds like you are saying your motor cut off, possibly from low battery, and without the power, you might have had a hard time controlling it.

Or, you could have lost signal, which would give you no motor and no control.

  • Whats a good first RTF plane? i never crash on the simulator but never flown for real.

  • If you've never flown for real, a great first plane is the Horizon Hobby Super Cub. Most Hobby Shops carry them in stock or you can order online from horrizon hobby. If your Hobby Shop carries it, then they have parts for it too.

So if you have damage during your learning phase, its inexpensive to fix, and most repairs can be made with C/A glue.

Later you can upgrade the super cub to a brushless motor and add ailerons. Even with all my jets and other planes, I still have 1 stock cub.

  • Turn up the wind and turbulence before your first flight in a real plane. The super cub should be a could first plane. Another good one is the multiplex easy star.

  • Excellent Point! Many people fly the SIM perfect after hours of practice, but don't realize, there is no wind or turb. in the SIM.

One might also want to turn on the mishap ability, where the SIM does things such as loss of signal, aileron failure, motor out, etc.

    Thanks Forrest225!

  • what do you like better corsair or t28

  • If I could only BUY 1? I guess the T-28.

The T-28 offers more abilities and durability. The Corsair is just better looking in my opinion. But, if I can only buy one, The T-28, Thankfully I have both so I didnt have to decide. LOL

    Thanks for question.

  • I love your vids!

  • Thanks for the Wonderful Comment! I appreciate the viewing and comments!

  • thats so freaking cool the canopy! how did u do it? whit a servo but how?

  • Thanks!!! Check above, the Video Response. Its from me with a detailed look and explanation of how I made the canopy.

    Thanks again!

  • nice

  • that was a nice video! very good idea having the guy drop from the canopy, more interesting than just from the bottom.

I have a PZ vapor, E-flight cx2, and a GWS slow stick, as well as a simulator, i shouldn't have any problems flying a t-28, right? i was thinking this would be a good next step.

  • Thanks for watching and commenting! I appreciate it! The T-28 is a great next step for you. Its quicker than what you have now and much more agile. T28 is durable and easy to fix in those ooops situations.

  • thats way awsome!

  • Check out the Video Response to this video, it explains in detail how to make a popup canopy. Thanks for Watching!!

  • Oh Great! Now I have to buy a T-28 cause that was just way too awesome. My Grandkids would love to chase the parachutes.

Load up to the max as many small plastic parachute guys as you can and drop all at once! It'll look like a vietnam parachute drop.

  • so which one is easier to fly, does the t-28 trojan fly easily or not because im temped to get one.

    thnx mate

  • High wings are easier to control in my opinion. But, the T-28 is one plane that handles GREAT. When anyone asks what plane they should upgrade to, or add to their hanger, I always recommend the ParkZone T-28. You can mod it (put flaps and Spoilers on it). PopUp Canopies, etc. She handles the wind great, is forgiving on landings and takeoffs, and in the event of a crash, shes very easy to fix. I love the T-28 and always bring it to the field every time I go.

  • thanks again, one more question (probably), does the t28 trojan come with ailerons or not??

  • The T-28 comes with Ailerons, Elevator, Rudder, Nose Steering. You can get a Ready to Fly or Almost Ready to Fly. I put mine on my DX7 and an AR6200 Receiver for flawless receptions and flights. And with the extra ports on the 6200 receiver, I was able to add my upgrades.

  • thanks for the info, i havnt been in the rc plane world for very long, and i dont know much about upgrading a plane, but if i wer too add flaps and retracts on the plane then wood i need a new controller, and wood i need any thing else new, because obviously i'd need too add new servos for the retracts.

    thnx

  • If you are going to add all this to a stock T-28, then you will need to upgrade your Transmitter and Receiver. If you dont already have an Upgraded Transmitter, this will get costly. But, a Good Transmitter will be a great investment as it is good for many planes/helis. I have mine on the Spektrum DX7 Transmitter and AR7000 Receiver. I added 2 servos for the Flaps/Spoilers combo. I added 1 servo for canopy. Retracts are a whole nother story on the t-28.

  • yh, but doesnt this weigh down the plane alot

  • I wouldnt bother with retracts. The T28 handles fantastic without retracts. Unless you just want to tinker with them and add for the look, then it can and has been done. As for weight, The video you see here has everything installed except retracts. She flys like a bat out of hell. I have flown numerous times inverted less than 2 feet off the ground and easily pull up out of it. And, the popup canopy uses a Full Size Servo, no a micro. It takes a lot more than what ive done to weigh her down

  • thanks, do u think sum time you could maybe draw out a diagram of how you did all this servos, like where you added them and stuff like that, that wood be great if u cood.

    thank again mate :)

  • Check out the Video Response to this video, I made a video about making the canopy. As for the flaps, I'll have to create that one. It was really super simple. In fact, the flaps I added to this plane, was my very first attempt at such a thing. I have since found many a short cut and better ways to make the install much cleaner. I'll see what I can do for you.

  • I honestly cant say enough great things about the T28. She always comes to the field with me. I can haul 7 planes and my T28. The 7 are chosen from a choice of 15. If you get a Spektrum DX7 Tranmitter, it can hold 20 planes/helis in it. It has a 3 position switch which allows a single wing slip to act as Flaps (down position) Flat (middle position) and Spoilers (up position). 2 servos control the panels. T-28 from Parkzone is A++++ in my book. Highly Recommended!

  • hi, how easy is it to fly a low winged plane like the one u've got, because im used to flying high winged planes like the cessna's?.

  • Theres only a slight difference. High Wings Float on the wind, low wings balance on the wind.

  • I will make a video close up and explanation of the mod this weekend. It's fairly simple now that its done, but it took quite a bit of trial and error to get the canopy to open and close just right.

  • Awesome, gotta try this mod with mine. The kids will love it.

  • now that was the bomb..Explain how you made the canopy do that??? Great job

  • I've posted a Video Response to this video with the making of the canopy. Thanks!

  • That was cool! Can you email me and tell me roughly how you did this? LOL "You dropped a Bomb on Me" I love when the music chosen fits the flight and whats happening! Great Choice!

  • LOL! Cool
