Just saw Les Miserables in Chicago for the 25th anniversary tour with Lawrence Clayton as Jean Valjean. And while Mr Clayton did a magnificent job, I would LOVE to see a performance with Jamie as Valjean. Such a beautiful voice.

ones opinion is ones opinion, but I must say I think the "wavery"-ness of his voice is what makes this performance so strong. Its an emotional song and the waveryness really makes him seem like he's singing with his soul. Something missing in pretty much all music released in the last 10 years.

@crimsonsunstreak93 It's a musical by Claude Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil (I think, correct me if my wrong fellow Les Mis fans) based on the Victor Hugo novel. It's a really really beautiful story and musical.  If you ever get the chance, watch it or look into it, it's absolutely amazing.

Excellent! This year is shaping up to be a fine competition. He's clearly studied voice at some point in his life, though. A bit acted and isn't nearly as talented as Susan.

The difference between the two (and actually all the other competition in the World) Susan has BIGGER BALLS!

Susan is a born performer and the rest just don't have the Moxie and fight in them to actually be the only one standing at the end of the day!

She owned (commandeered) the stage when she was on & she knew it!

I do not think a person who is just being themself has bigger balls. this guy, however, is terrified out of his mind. he has never had the guts to sing in front of an audience, and has very menial jobs to support himself. he has severe stage fright and all signs show that he probably has low self confidence too. poor guy.
