I have heard similar things about Jenkins, he's fast and athletic but he has flaws in his game that will inhibit his game in the NFL. Brandon Flowers will be a much better player, even though he had poor numbers at the combine.

Actually, Mike has done nothing but drop since draft season started. Everyone knows he's fast and can cover, but he doesn't support the run. Leodis McKelvin is the full package which is why the Ravens HAVE to get him if Matt Ryan is gone at the 8th pick.

McKelvin is OVERRATED as hell.

Sure he's a good punt returner, but those guys in college (especially lower tier) are a dime a dozen.

HE CANT COVER.

If you think he's gonna be able to step into the NFL in 2008 and cover good WRs you got another thing coming.

He has talent, but IF IF IF he has the work ethic AND INTELLIGENCE, look for him to develop into a good one within 3 years.

How is McKelvin overrated. He went from a nobody to the best corner in the draft with hard work. The same goes for DRC. There were tons of players at high profile positions that did next to nothing or dropped in the rankings. If he didn't have the work ethic you say he lacks, he wouldn't have risen from a mid-to-late round choice to a potential top 10 pick.

Exactly, C-Mac and Rolle are only going to get worse. One of the biggest reasons the Ravens' defense has been so succcessful is because the coaches trust the corners to be left on island which allows more men to blitz. Look at our division. I don't think C-Mac or Rolle can really keep up with Chad Johnson, Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards or Santonio Holmes anymore. We need a young corner who is hungry and ready to prove himself. That guy is either McKelvin or DRC. Leodis is the better prospect

C-Mac is still very good, but I agree with you that Rolle is getting worse.  Rolle might be the most overrated CB in the NFL. Unless of the offchance of Matt Ryan or Vernon Gholston slipping to us happens, He would be a great fit.

randall gay is a decent corner, nothing more really, tho he can show flashes he'll also get beat from time to time. i know im a pats fan so ive seen him from day one, but if he stays healthy, which is somewhat hard for him to do, he'll be an upgrade from what the saints have now.

Leodis McKelvin will likely be drafted by the patriots, if they do not trade thier pick or acuire a cornerback, such as lito shepard.
