thanks for posting up your videos, they're really helpful. i was wandering though if you use a planer to do the joints on the back aswell ?, just i've heard they can be difficult with more figured woods, cheers again
Yes, I use the same machine. The key is to make sure your machine is well set up and that the blades are sharp. But generally I find shooting a back joint to be no different, as I avoid very wild timbers - they tend to be unstable.
