I am kind of nervous for my dentist appointment today because I just lost my last baby tooth and I don't know if I am going to get braces or not! So totally freaked out!😁😁😁😁 I don't know whats going to happen!!!!!!!

@Superhottie239 it doesnt really hurt to get them on, but you will feel your teeth moving and that does hurt A LOT. overall its not that bad. i would say the day you get them on and the times you get them tightened, the pain is like an 8, but other than those days they really dont hurt that much at all!

I have braces and hen you get them in it doesn't hurt. But just in my opinion it kind of hurt when they out the colors in because they kind of twist the brace thing. But after about 4 hours you will feel pain on your teeth and gums, and it will sort of hurt when you eat for about 3-4 or five days. Than you will get the hang of it!(: Hope this helped!

Her teeth might look straight but maybe her bite is off. The main function of braces is fixing the bite, it's just recently that it's become all about the cosmetic part.

I got mines on thursday feb 18 2011 they didn't hurt at all omg I was freaked out for nothin but now it does hurt like my teeth feel weird and day hurt I think it was becuz on da same day I got them I ate mcdonalds they. Said u could eat

anything acept gum or starburts or anything chewy :( I miss my gum friend !

@36985251 Your teeth probably hurt becouse they were starting to move , evry month that you go & get them tightened your teeth will move to get them straight (: & you can eat Mc.Donals it wont damage anything butt it may hurt a bitt for the same reason , your teeth are moving but you will gett used to them , i promise :)

@hapyeye I am going to have to get braces and everyone says my smile is perfect. But my teeth don't align correctly and I have a slight overbite. And there is also very mild crowding on the bottom. But no one notices that so maybe she has a similar situation.
