@ANormanG The operative words are "used to". I loved them back in the day but now they're indistinguishable from Blink 182 and the rest of those cracker jack-mid tempo-pop bands. I think they made a conscious decision to follow music trends a few yrs ago and that's when the quality of their music went into the shitter. Today, they appeal to 15 yr olds b/c their sound is wishy washy pop/rap without any regard for melody. Yeah, I know I'll get flamed for this comment but I stand behind it anyway.

However, somewhere around the early 2000s, they decided to completely change their direction and follow musical trends, probably to remain relevant and make money. They just don't appeal to me anymore. They sound watered down, immature and like dozens of other bands now. Bands should grow over time, not regress. Weezer regressed, imo
