One person has a computer with no speakers...LOL! This show is theapitome of SCV EXCELLENCE!! DCI needs to start getting it right...if the show is good its good...THIS IS GREAT!! This is coming from a 1989-1992 SCV veteran...LOL
start judging the show again in contrast to ones opinion of what the show should be JUDGES...LOL
I was there for semis and finals. Both nights, every single person in the stadium was on their feet screaming and cheering madly from the beginning of this push to the end of the show. SCV threw it down. Best DCI moment in the past few years.
Ever since I first heard Appalachian Spring, I thought it would be an amazing show for a marching band. Every time I heard it, I saw marching drill in my head. It was the best show ever, but I knew it would never happen. But this year, as SCV came into the company front I was in shock. It was MY show! The drill I had always envisioned was happening! My dream literally came true! Needless to say, I was bawling and screaming. I love this show. I love SCV.

Too bad the asshole shouting his head off like an Oakland Raider fan ruined the intensity of the music...which I couldn't hear because of the asshole screaming.
I was so fortunate to see this live (in Utah of all places). The push brought everyone to their feet and brought half of us to tears. Favorite show of all time... reminds me why I decided to be a music major :)
I was fortunate enough to see this show when they came to Gadsden. When they did their final push, I had to fight back the tears as I had a flashback to the closer of the 2006 show of the Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners. We played "Appalachian Spring" with "Simple Gifts" after our drum break. We played it in the same key as they did and even had a push like theirs. When I saw them, I was in awe.
i cried a little bit when they played their last chord before going back field at finals. Just a gorgeous sound that can only come from the depths of your soul. Epitome of Epic.
I totally agree. I saw them at Drums along the Rockies in Denver and nearly died out of joy for their sound... but man I would have loved to see them at DCI finals!
SCV forever!!!

Well I would like to double-dare anybody who is "not an emotional guy" and remain seated while viewing this video.
When I marched HNC last year, I heard this part of the show and I thought "Oh wow." I wish I could have seen this live and in person....
