Also ich kann die europäische Mischung auch garnicht empfehlen!

Hab mir auch mal einen Pouch gekauft, und fand den Geruch wirklich sehr schön, allerdings den Tabak als solchen....irgendwo langweilig....ich habe die Pfeife nicht wirklich genießen können.

Aber einen Zungenbrand habe ich überhaupt nicht bekommen, und ich rauche ohne Filter...

Hab mir vor einiger Zeit auf Dan Pipe den Captain Black bestellt und ich war auch entsetzt.

Hab noch keinen so übersosten und unnatürlich schmeckenden Tabak geraucht.

In der Tat ungeniesbar, hab auch die halbe dose weggeschmissen.

Ich weiss nicht wie vertraut du mit flake tabaken bist aber ich habe mir einen navy flake von mac baren gekauft und natürlich auch geraucht nur ist mir aufgefallen dasser unglaublich auf der zunge brennt und jetzt würde mich interressieren ob du diesen kennst und schon probiert hast.

Bin Flake Tabaken bin ich zwar recht vertraut, jedoch nicht mit dem MB Navy Flake. Da muss ich dann leider passen. Aber ich denke, dass du auf der Seite von Daft Kritiken dazu finden wirst.

Danke für den Tipp. Pfeifen-Huber habe ich bei mir schon in den Favoriten abgelegt. Tabakmäßig bin ich erstmal noch ein Weilchen eingedeckt. Danach (ich denke mal so im Sommer/Herbst) werde ich mal sehen, wann ich wo was bestellen werde.

am Donnerstag habe ich eine Dose "Captain Black" aus den USA mitgebracht bekommen. Nun kann ich ihn wieder in vollen Zügen genießen...! :-)

Von macBaren habe ich früher den einen oder anderen Tabak geraucht. Mittlerweile probiere ich alle möglichen Hersteller und Sorten durch.

hello Lars,,,ive been smoking captain black for almost the first 4 years of my pipe days and depending on the patches i hv tasted it varied btn the royal white or gold is my favourite but now adays i hv a pattch tht i hv bought 33 years ago n it taste wonderful,,royal and white,,i do smoke them in work,,tobaccos is pure taste thing,,many ppl may vary upon just like food if u like ill b happy to send u sm,,geat vid

Is the European mixture the same as the American?

Captain Black was the first tobacco i ever tired in a pipe many of the experienced smokers on hear do not like it

and btw many of the famous American pipe tobaccos are the ones sold in drugstores, if you get desperate i send you some over!

Unfortunately the US mixture is different to the european one. It contains something that is not allowed in the EU.

I know that many of the famous american tobaccos are sold in drugstores. That's where I got my US-mixture. I only forgot to get some more when I've been in the US in may 2008.

My uncle (he's living in Georgia) will come and see me in february... and he promised to get some Captain Black for me. Thank you for your kind offer...!

Danke für das Review! Ich glaube, wenn ich mal Captain Black probieren sollte, dann wirklich nur den aus den USA. Ähnlich entäuscht wurde ich auch vom Karameltabak von Peter Heinrichs. Null Geschmack, fasst überhaupt keine Raumnote. Kann mir gut vorstellen den auch bald wegzuschmeißen.

Hallo Pouya,

wenn es um Caramel-Tabak geht, empfehle ich dir den "Danske Club Caramel", den es für wenig Geld zu kaufen gibt, und der wirklich sehr gut schmeckt. David (sundaybloddysunday) hat mir vor ein paar Wochen den "Peterson Special Reserve 2007" empfohlen, der auch sehr gut sein soll. Habe ihn nun bei Ebay ersteigert und werde ihn demnächst mal probieren. Aber auch der "Peter Rasmussen Gold Label" ist super lecker!
