i have a question...i bought a girl budgie and wated until it was old enough to mate...then i bought a boy budgie that was around the same age as her. now my guestion was the girl is doing all of the loveing and singing to the boy, not the other way around... why is this?
can anyone please help me i have 2 parakeets and one of it has dark brown cere and the yellow one has has kinda light pinkesh color so i dont kno witch one is male or female please help please and i have the video of it on my channel

What a very beautiful singing voice this birdie has, so gentle, sweet and melodious - really, can't you provide him with a nicer perch? That thing with all the HAIR on it is so damned DISTRACTING!

The one with the brown cere is a girl and the pinkish one is most likely a boy. either that, or he/she is not matured yet to have a noticeable cere.
