Now I want to know if there is an exotic derivative out there that I've never herd of like a market for weather patterns or if that ball is going to land on black or red.
Interesting and informative, thank you. The video edit at 8:19 it seems like you cut a part out of this video where you you were laughing like a mad scientist about the guy loosing his money. : )
You have the choice to either buy or sell an option that will either increase in value of decrease in value. You have research to do. Try Robert Walker’s, “Pass the 7,” book.
check my channel for video's about daytrading and trade like me in forex (EUR/USD, CAD/JPY etc.), stocks (coca-cola, phillips etc.), commodities (gold, silver, oil etc.) and indices (Nasdaq, Nikkei etc.
Yes your point is clear but I don't understand why the person who is buying the options from you at 20 doesn't buy it for 10 (the same way you did), or either buy the shares for 10?
May be it's so obvious question but I am beginner in options.
hey, i was absolutely blown away to see this on you tube. i am readying to start studying to pass the series 7 and everyone tells me this is one of those difficult testing areas alongside municipals. while im on the subject, do you have a video explaining those to the layman?
look up the definition of a contract in law, the meaning of the word (option) in an english dictionary, the definition of options in a financial book and then reply...
A contract represents the option to buy or sell 100 shares. The writer of the contract is absolutely OBLIGED to sell or buy at the strike price of the contract. Unless they make their position flat at expiration or if the option is out of the money.
★★★★ Good vid, you can also accomplish this by selling the $20 strike PUT option naked so you wont need to own the shares & it will give you a premium = to the 20 call or more.
everyones missing the point ,i think that was a great explanation,i just have to play it a couple of times anyway man keep up the good work ,and the office is great f all them!!!!!
Thanks. Now I kind of know what it's like to be famous. I basically ignore them, but they kind of crack me up. I could delete them, but I think it's more fun to leave them!
If you need anything explained better, send me a message and I'll see if I can clarify.
