The point of the programme was to show that biblical evidence can be found outside of the bible. I'm the guy in the programme ..so listen to it all, your critique is not holding water here.
You have evidence in scripture, but you have no solid evidence or reason to belive that everything in your scriptures is true. You have just stamped it as authority without any good reason.
It's a book filled with ancient stories, not a history book. It doesn't matter how much you WANT it to be true.

Nothing. You have been told that it's the word of god, and you have accepted to blindly belive in it. I'm sorry ,but some of us require some real evidence before beliving things. And extraordinary claims (like supernatural origins) require extraordinary evidence. Just saying "God did it" doesn't count.

Yes, bible mentions places and people and who are real, but it also contains lots of fantasy.
Spiderman comics mentions real places like New Your, but you wouldn't draw conclusion that Spiderman is also true.
