That´s not correct.Methane brurns with blue Flame when it have enough oxygen around.otherwise it´s buring in Yellow/Orange.
@Zugvogel1 Bright blue means copper.

When is the color is Blue-Green.But Copper normaly burn with Green Flame.

It was an electrical short which ignited a natural gas line. (the petroleum-based fuel) They had to shut the grid down to stop it.
