@WeAreTwoDoorsDown Same. They are the same chipsets except that the single fan has lower specs. You can increase those but it's not recommended due to overheating. Hence why they have a two fan version. You can buy a new heatsink and fan for it but that costs more money obviously.

BUT, keep in mind that this card is factory overclocked which mean that; from the process of choosing the chip at XFX, the chips will pass through a bunch of test, and of course, overclocking. The best chips will be dispatched to the 7970 OC version has well. So, you may have a better OC room with a factory overclockedcard

Common marketing strategy. The Nvidia GTX 7xx series is going to be a whole lot faster than the AMD 7xxx series. A lot of big online stores in Europe displayed the new AMD HD 7970 card but quickly removed them from the front page. Apparently they saw GTX 7xx behind closed doors. Nuff said'. Just wait.

To further prove this you can monitor that card using a program like msi arfterburner or evga precision and you can see the usage on the card go up during physics intensive games. Only on games supporting Nvidia Physx that is...
