i have roxio 2009 for my PC and i used the chroma key and does anybody know if the newer 2011 chroma key any better because your video has a green glow around it like mine when i use the key

I'm not sure. I haven't found anything in the user guide for chroma key. (oddly enough), so this is all self taught.

It looks like Roxio limits it to three. Does your studio background have many colors, or are you getting alot of shadowing?

@Katfellow I've been using Roxio forever, just its been irritating me with chroma key. I'm having trouble with shadowing and ghosting. I have a lighting kit aswell, but it just doesn't cut it. Ghosting is rare, but occasionally it happens with me. They need more then three additional colors!

Okay. I'm just wondering. Good video, but I wouldn't use Roxio Creator to manage the green screen digitally. Adobe offers the best software for PC, and Final Cut Pro for mac.

Roxio is kind of cheap, but it's a pretty good basic software.

I've been thinking about getting Adobe After Effects, I've heard good things. The price is pretty high though.

hey man, every time i do the chroma key part it like i dont know the word but, it only does a sertain part of the green screen so if i move i go behind the picture!

Is it filtering you out with the green? If the tuning features (on the right) doesn't help, what kind of lighting do you have?

The video I have this posted as a reponse to shows a very good set up for studio lighting.
