  • who are all the girls in the video?

  • @jay2562125621 ...believe it or not,yes in this video they are 357..but today they are still around, only now u probably kno them trinitee:5-7,the gospel group,u kno,the 1's who sing "its by GOD'S grace"...this also y they named themselves trinitee, which means 3:5-7...357!...what a transition, right?

  • @encorey1 ... incorrect this isnt trinitee 5 7

  • @encorey1 WRONG! Why would Sweet LD be singing Christian Gospel Music? and she is Muslim now...two different groups.

  • D WUEVOSSSSSSSSSSS

  • Aww me and my friends used to jam hard to this ish!

  • Thunder, do you remember this one?

  • This group was AWFUL, but something was undeniably infectious about this song, although it'll never get props from true-school hip-hop heads. Peace.

  • MAN DIS WAS DA LICK. YEAH YEAH YEAH!!

  • Biker shorts and skirts...I used to love to see those

  • I remeber them shoes! I had a pair

  • And it's so funny how "certain" people put ALL rap music in a "box". Lol! I don't hear any violent lyrics.

  • I did this routine at a school talent show. I begged my mom to buy me a pair of them black shoes that they were wearing. Those were the days.

  • word i was born in 85...i rember alil of these times when i was 7 salt and paper was out still. but ya music use to be fun now thers sex and vilance. nothin but sex sex. i'm sick of seeing these sloppy bitch's & ass and tittys bein all up on the camera.

  • I lose 20 years on my life every time I hear this cut...

  • These girls came real hard!!!

  • Looking at this video would make you want to do a stick up with a hard on watching them shake in those skirts like that dat's sexy

  • Yeah that was the song. U don't see those dances anymore. Now all u see is folks having seizures on the dance floor. or they have to use the bathroom. and what the heck is crunking?

  • LOL do you mean krumping?

  • nice red bmw e30 :P good drift car

  • Damn I had this as a 12" single!!!! This was from when rap/hip hop was fun and there was something for everyone, and people could dance!!!!! Too bad hip hop/rap is horrible as hell now!!!!

  • that is so true........................

  • So Jay-Z stole their Rhyme style on Do it Again... 1 am on my way to the club... anyBdy?????

  • So Jay-Z tole they rhyme style in Do it Again.....

  • Yo MC Hammer should of just kept them in the back then he might not be broke. They was bad as hell....

  • Wasn't this Mc. Hammer group??

  • Oakland stand up!!!

  • house parties and biker tights....aaahhh the memories!

  • where'd the 2 extra chicks come from?

  • terrible tee n vicious c r my sluts

  • i love this song!

ive been trying to find the lyrics..

    does anybody know them??

  • Classic! They was rockin!!! Terrible T was the truth.

  • One of those girls looks like Coco from SWV to me.

  • B Angie BBBBB!!!!!

  • The Light Skinned Girls Was Cool. But I Had The Biggest Thing For Terrible T. Yeah, She Was It For Me. The Whole Package! That Sista Was Bangin'

  • Yes indeed and the main point they were fully clothes and no Ass crack showing.

  • wow !!!!!!!!!!!

  • They could dance & their outfits were cute. Love ya 357.

  • i remember this Haha..yeaaah..

  • i never knew it was 4 of them in the beginning. The light girl with fade, isn't she in Bobby Browns video My Prerogative playing the synthesizer shaped like a guitar? What happened to the girls outside of Terrible T and Sweet LD? There was another girl too that was real short that rapped with them in some other videos.

  • This beat is bangging big time.

  • they were so crunk before crunk came out!!!

  • nah don't insult them like that. lol

  • Haha this song was the shit, You are right, not the best rappers but they sure could dance!

  • The days when rap DIDN'T piss me off!

  • @sbrooks0178 I feel ya on that

  • @sbrooks0178 best utube comment ever...

  • @sbrooks0178 i could not have said it any better than that

  • @sbrooks0178 You piss me off.

  • YEAH!!!

  • OH MAN!!! me and my best friend did this whole video we even had these outfits!! man this was the good times!!

  • this is the shit

  • OMG, pattened leather shoes that I begged my parents for!

  • This video was when women still wore clothes in the videos. We didn't mind a little sweat either.

  • Based on this video, one would think that when 3-5-7 was shortened to two members, the two would have been Sweet LD and the girl with the fade haircut. The video pretty much focuses on them.

  • I agree. Seems like the focus is on those two.

Maybe they got to nig for their britches and the label went with the more humble two. I remember my little 5 yr old cousin asked for LD's autograph and she got very very nasty... Were were shocked!

  • @JazzyBelle30 whatchu mean?? did she get pissed at a 5 year lol

  • dondivafolks, please do that and this beat kicks ass, best female dance video ever, Beyonce got nothing on them!

  • does anybody know where they are? i wrote on vh1 about alot of old rappers and they dont know where anybody yet. 357 sweet tee mc brain the boys perfect gentlemen.. whats up?

  • this when hip hop was da realest

  • Juicy gotcha crazy is the joint. This isn't bad either, but that remix with B Angie B is one of the smoothest joints in music.

  • they are so fine, plus the jam allways rocked, hammer dont get enuff credit for putting them and oaktown on the map musically on a higher level, hammer wrote for them and got their music tight

  • That was my shyt back then. Loved Vicious C .

  • OMG...spandex, skirts, and patten leathers...still got me heated 20 years later hahaha

  • 357 rockin this shit. too bad only one song

  • You're right, this is a good dance video!

  • Too bad the video didn't show more of the pool scene!

  • Those were days!

  • Can somebody please explain what the hell they're talkin about?! I didn't know 20 years ago, and I still can't figure what they're talkin about! ROFL!!!!

  • u should join the fansite an ask that question to 1 of the members of 357

  • hey i was just tryn to let some 357 fans know that i have started a fanite on yahoo an i actually got sweetld to join it an answer questions so if u want to join the link is on my page

  • i started the site its called oaktown 357 fansite on yahoo

  • OMG I had all that gear. The asymetrical stacked haircut and the patent leather shoes with ribbon laces. I even had a white MCM purse with matching jacket. Man those were the days! LOL

  • I heard that!

  • I remember me and my girls back in the day ridin around before going to the club with this song playin. We thought we were fly like the girls in this video, ha ha ha. Those were the good old times.

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

  • Why can't we get down like this nowadays? Just having a good time without hurting and killing each other. Women literally half naked in these rap videos. Hip hop/rap used to be so much fun as this videos shows but now it takes itself way too seriously.

  • @royalsoulness These chicks are half naked and air humpin too.

  • @JasonTyberiusKirk Still nothing like the rap videos today.

  • I LOVED OAKTOWN 357 AND HAMMER back in the day they got down!!!!!!!!!!

  • This was the song back in the day!!! I can see me and a bunch of my female friends standing around rapping the lyrics to this song like we were 'hard'! LOL!!! I had the LP AND the cassette, lol! Love it!

  • I miss black girls with natural hair. Throw your weave back in the trash!!!!!

  • Dope

  • OMG! the memories lmao

  • OMG is right! I'm with you on that one!!

  • I usually see the two members in the other videos, who are the other two girls in this video?

  • the other 2 girls are Sweet P. and Vicious C. when original member Lil'P. left Hammer decided on 2 girls turning them into a quartet. Vicious C. can be seen in Bobby Brown's "My Perogative" video...both ladies were actual members NOT Back up dancers as some people are mentioning...they just had a very brief stint!

  • I watched the Bobby Brown "My Prerogative" video and the girl in the Video looks like Sweet P unless I am getting her and Vicious C mixed up. In Bobby Brown's video she is playing the keyboards and the dance together from about 3:30 to 3:47.

  • god this brings memories lol

  • they look/dance weird did ppl REALLY walk out there house like THAT.......wow thank the lord i was'ent born when this "style" was out!(born:'94!)

  • Although it might look gay compared to today's standards you have to understand that they were part of MC Hammer's dance troupe (his backup dancers). He is responsible largely for today's type of hip hop dance and really should get more credit. Before Hammer, dancing was even more "weird", check out the dancing in Whitney Houston's vids.

  • johnnybladez02....I cannot resist. Weird?? hmmmmm. Nothing could be more weird than todays young men walking around with sagging pants, his crack or boxers showing and a belt tied at his knees!!! Ironically its a style that evolved from prison often to send a message to his inmate that he is ready for sex. If only todays youth knew where that style came from.

  • That beat I still kick and cats go nuts.

  • Yo, I had skirts like this back in the day...mine was pink and the black biker shorts underneath.

I was the shyt back then!

  • I can't front, I used to bump this song.....in private! LOL

  • this was way before the hot girls of today. you couldn't see as much as you can today in rap video, but believe me its there you just had to use your imagination a little more.far as the song goes nobody cares for the lyrics it was about that hook beat and body movements and back then it worked.

  • she hit the dougie at 4:40

  • wat happened to the other two girls? They were 4 and then there were 2! ne body know?

  • I knew nothing about them, just happened upon this vid..so I did a bit of info hunting. Apparently they were originally a trio, but before this vid was shot, 1 member left..so she's not in vid. 2 members were added (making a quartet) for the vid. After this video was released, 1 member broke her leg and did not return (Vicious C..the one with the fade who is also in Bobby's vids), and the other "new" addition, Sweet P, left to temporarily replace one of JJ Fad's members. That's all I could find.

  • Hey, thanx for the info. I do remember the one with "da fade" being in My Perogative! She did her thing on that syncronized piano!

  • She sure did!

  • Thanx, raylo! I thought that was her in My Perogative! She did her thing on that keyboard...lol!

  • the other 2 were dancers

  • not tryin to dis, but its songs and lyrics like these are the reason why even Fergie thinks she can rhyme.

    da relic

  • i wasznt feelin 'nis shit but i thought deez bitchez wuz sexy as shit

  • These girls were backup dancers for MC Hammer on his first tour and his first album's videos. The liner notes of thier debut album (was their a second?) credited the group's hairstylist but didn't list the group members' names. A friend of a friend way back then told me "I think they're a lot of good looks and not a lot of good raps.".

  • It's entertainment. There are some Great rappers who can't put on a show at all. These young ladies could put on a very good show and still come back and be a big part of Hammer's performances.

  • I use to have some of those black patten leather shoes, wow this is old school, Wasn't the one with the shortest hair in Bobby Browns My Perogative video playing a keyboard

  • yeah, that was her

  • Wow, I remember I used to dance to this video...old school

  • Man, where do you guys find these videos, lol? I completely forgot about this group. It brings back so many memories when I see these old school videos....I must be getting old, lol. Thanks for posting it.

  • i use to be in love with 357...wow im so glad i ran passed this video...

  • Wow. I was livin in Oakland before these chicks or Hammer got large. I had the opportunity to meet them all in the studio when I was workin on my stuff that never came out! lol! They allright.

  • You have all the bomb a** old school video

  • Oh yeah these girls were bought up by MC Hammer. I forgot about this fresh jam... Talking about bringing back memories from the 80's. Dam Hip Hop was fun back then.

  • i'm soooo glad my best friend from high school sent this to me today! wow - flashback. not only were the beats tight then, THEY ARE STILL TIGHT NOW. oh, and she and I were hot then, and we're still hot now! love ya, lay!

  • i was too young when this came out, but i knew it was a song, but no one believed me!!! now look at me now!!!!!

  • do that dance girls.

  • I LOVE THIS!!!

  • u can just tell that these ladies were part of hammers crew

  • Oaktown's 357 could dance any female group under the table. And I must agree with photofu this was when rap was FUN!!!

  • yeah girls dress like this now with the vest look and torn cut off shorts

  • Does anyone know where I can find a rap song by an all girl group from the 90's and the song goes "come on work it out, get up and do your dance, come out work it out, work it out" and that's all I can remember off the top of my head...I would really appreciate it if someone knows. =)

  • Silk times Leather is the group from the ATL. I think the name of the song Do Your Dance. It is somewhere in my old tapes. I have The woman in me posted.

  • HELL yeah, yeah, yeah...! This was my JOINT back in the day! These females were BAD ... I especially like the one that gets a close-up at about the 4:37 mark. ... Ooh, sorry about that--I guess I got a little carried away there! ... Anyhow, the ladies possessed a certain sense of style and an element of charisma that created great appeal. Thanks for the cool little flashback!

  • this is when rap was fun, cool. peace.

  • nah, that was just some west coast stuff. i guess they were trying to be the next JJ Fad

  • aint that yoyo yea i think it is

  • Nope that is not Yo-Yo your thinking Terrible T. (Tabitha King) not Yo-Yo (Yolanda Whitaker).

  • This Was The Shiznit Back In The Day!

  • i remember these times... my friends and I thought we were them....lol I was terrible T and my friend trish was sweet LD... ha ah

  • i use to have a the bikers shorts attached to the little black and pink polka dot skirt. That is when kwame was out and polka dots was hot

  • I had the same outfit and thought I was so cute. My friends and I were always acting out the video.

  • slut female rappers take example from real ladies 357 they real not fake and you can't buy them.

  • To all those interested in Oaktown 357's videos, their first album "Wild and Loose" was re-released in 2005 and includes a bonus DVD with all the videos from the first 2 albums. I just checked Amazon and there are some cheap copies. Enjoy!!

  • 1:56.

    Daaaaayum.

  • I loved living in Oakland during this time. Stepping was a big thing, Rapping was hot, Even Jay-Z was doing his thing...then '93 hit and Sean Combs came out as Puff Daddy at the Hip Hop Conference. Man, I've got so many pictures and I'm so glad I graduated high school in '86 just to move to Oakland just soon as things started happening. My life was the best! Wow, the good old days.

  • This was so hype! Phat beats fa sho! Go Oaktown 357!!!!!

  • These were the goos old days when dance music actually made you want to dance and not put you to sleep.

  • I don't care what anyone says, I'm 17 and I'll still bump this shit in my car

  • think it was first time I saw this.. and the last time I saw this

  • wow!!! This takes me back! this was my favorite cut buy them! I remember when I saw them in concert it was MC HAMMER,OAKTOWN 357,TROOP,AFTER SEVEN AND HI-5 lmao talk about along time ago!!! WOW!

  • me and my best friend bought these skirts/bikers from a store called 579 and we were hella tight we had the video down tight and even had the shiny black shoes! oh man we just KNEW we were the shyt!!! we thought we were them! i can still do this video. sad.. :)
