It's got over 300+bhp, and 300+ lb-ft Torque, and I think it's a FWD. But I guess that goes with nearly all Asian cars. For those who don't know/remember, Acura was almost singlehandedly responsible for forcing Ferrari to improve build quality exponentially. They were able to prove that sports cars could be fast, fun, AND reliable.

Does anybody remember the Lexus SC 300 of the mid to late 90's? It was basically a toyota supra with an understated, elegant body. I know it had the supra's striaght six engine but I can't remember if it was turbocharged or naturally aspirated. I think it was also available with a the super smooth Lexus V8 later in production. I thought that was a great car and the LF-A has my vote, it could be the best challenger for the new NSX.

You're absolutely right. As for reliability, Porsche has proven itself over decades, and Lexus has done the same for road - not sports - cars. It may be a giant killer, but it's longevity is unproven.
