  • ¡Fantástico! :D

  • This is the most impressive version of Händel I ever heard - not because it is korean, but because of the marvelous music!!! Does exist any cd of the choir???

  • Wow this is very very impressive!

  • These are the sharpest, best balanced, best recorded, and most wonderfully musical performances of Messiah I have seen, and I have seen a lot. I love Messiah and these vids of this choir and orchestra are simply the best. I would love to see this conductor in rehearsal. This level of performance arises only from a special vision of the conductor as well as amazingly precise execution by all the musicians. Thank you for sharing these with us all.

  • Wonderfull...I'm amazed and very glad. This is music! Wish I was there...

    Greetings from Romania

  • Very nice... Congratulations! The song is amazing

  • Fantastic singing, blessings from America!

  • Wonderful discipline Maestro Chai, Hoon Cha. The commitment of the choir is intense and welcome. Bravo!

  • OMG this is so fast! amazing!!

  • Korea has a beautiful voice.God bless d choir

  • I've never sung it at this tempo! Incredible!

  • I first thought : "God, their English is soooooo bad". It's impressive that the syllables's sounds are quite the same as the English version !

  • Glorious!

  • This sends shivers down my spine, good job my Korean friends!

  • Bravissimo!

  • Amazing!!

  • Wow! Wow! Wow! Wonderful performance! Such precision from a large choir and the orchestra is perfect. It was a joy to listen to this. Thank you!

  • ¡Fantástico! :)

  • So nice to see an association dedicated to high art in the far east.

  • Wonderful!!!!!

  • It's amazing to see and hear people of another culture whose main religion is not necessarily Christianity singing the music by a respected composer about our Messiah. It shows how universal and influential this music and Christianity it in our world. Glory be to God.

  • @themillenia about 30 percents of south Koreans(15million, and more than 80%of protestants and 50% of catholics are devour church goers, more than many European contries)are christian. and south Korean protestants denominations hold Joint service in easter every year. and the joint choir(5,000members)sing "Halleuyah"every year. and ther are so many " Messiah"oratorio perfomances all around the nation at the easter evening. so we need translated version. because it's not mere art performance.

  • Wonderful. So interesting to hear the precise pronunciation of each syllable. It walks the line of emothion but it works. The faces of the choir seem to emote a true enjoyment and appreciation of the music. Obviously much work and effort by all. Congratulations on the very fine results.

  • Oh goodness me.....fabulous! Keep up the good work. I have no understanding of Korean, but the translation and execution sure works.

  • Again, I am blown away by these musicians....singers and orchestra. Beautiful! This is one of the best groups I have heard, from ANY country. Such gorgeous voices and precision in delivery. It is perfection.

  • Very Very Good please convey my best wishes to all of you I am a police officer in INDIA KERALa

  • Very Very Good please convey my best wishes to all of you I am a police officer in INDIA KERAL

  • @KGSIMON1 I will. Thanks.

  • Holy crap. They are absolutely amazing. The accuracy is simply stunning. With a group that size makes it even that more impressive at this speed.

  • @Seokohj, What is the *exact* translation of the korean lyrics in english? thank you in advance

  • Are they singing in Korean?

  • @FoxyStealth Yes.

  • @FoxyStealth

HOW in the WORLD is that translated with the correct syllables/beats???

What is the literal translation they are singing? Fascinating & beautiful!

  • @FoxyStealth The translation was done by the director, although it was based on the other existing version. Most of all, since Messiah is one of the most favoriate oratorio in Korea (or in the world), the translation continues to improve.

  • @seokohj Incredible! It sounds lovely... how literal is the translation? It's wonderful that it works so well!
