  • @danie142009

Lol. XD it has to be normal because I've been thinking he was sexy since I was 14 (I'm 15 now)

  • is it weird that im 16 and i think hes SUPER sexy?

  • @danie142009 No, not at all. I'm 17 and i think so too.

  • any rational man can enjoy his humor :D

  • Such great family photos! :3

  • COLBERT IS THE NEXT LETTERMAN, THUMBS UP IF U AGREE!!

  • @Jevan2010 that's just a lousy presumption

  • @anaselhaouat I know its kinda hard to believe, but Colbert has what it takes

  • @Jevan2010 right, except that colbert shows his so called character ignorance and denial, whereby letterman tells it

  • paul schafer is fucking odd and a terrible musican imo

  • "The Silent Night..." - everybody´s laughing :D. The great Letterman! With the great Colbert! Two of the best.

  • he's kind of narcissistic if you ask me. charming nonetheless.

  • @gatoradeee Stephen Colbert the character and Stephen Colbert the person are two entirely diffreent people. This interview is all in character, as is his show. The real Stephen Colbert is actually a democrat, and is very different from the character.

  • @Bana871 they're both narcissistic. he's so self-aware and full of himself--he doesn't know how to turn off the character steven colbert off.

  • @gatoradeee Watch an interview of him not in character. He's very humble and quiet, and says that he doesn't even allow his children to watch his show because he doesn't want them to think of him as that person. He knows how to turn the character on and off, he just doesn't choose to do so for the public unless the situation demands it. Watch an interview of him being himself before you make a judgement.

  • @Bana871 i have watched an interview of him not in character. it's the same damn guy.

  • Colbert has Irish blood in him.

Bill O'reilly has Irish blood in him.

    Colbert is a swell guy.

Bill is a troglodyte homunculus ape.

Hmmm, I guess not all Irish are cool.

  • but they can drink pretty good.

  • This is one man that both liberals and conservatives love, even if its for all the wrong reasons.

He is king of political comedy and parodies. Flipped bush off in his face during his own party too, Colbert has balls of adamantium.

  • Stephen Colbert: great American, or greatest American?

  • Greatest.

  • greaterestest

  • he is, top notch. Ladies and gentlemen, 'nuff said.

  • 1:47 ... I LOVE IT.

  • I love how he can makes something as simple as grunting "alright" funny.

  • stephen colbert= greatest american hero!

  • he reminds me of robert downey jr

  • He reminds me of a young Phil Hartman.

  • He gradually drifts out of character after Lettermen mentions his favorite Christmas Carol, "The Silent Night."

  • I'm not sure how laughing is breaking character, since he laughs on his show quite frequently.

  • his character is quite in synch with his own personality i guess...but more amplified, with a faux conservative streak. lol.

  • Laughing is always breaking character for Stephen Colbert because his dead-pan style is part of his character. Once the dead-pan seriousness breaks, so does his character.

  • i agree he breaks character every time he laughs but i feel like he doesnt usually go in character for interviews hes himself .

  • lol, I love it when he breaks character, and then suddenly does a headmove, and then he is in character again,

  • So funny to see steven break character

  • Did you know Letterman's WWPants produced the Strangers With Candy movie?

  • They are both sarcastic straight men, so their chemistry together is quite weird.

  • I don't know. I think it's just his personality. He's never struck me as a particularly antagonistic guy- he's said before that he likes people who come on his show not to feel uncomfortable.

  • He explained the whole name thing on Charlie Rose. They grew up ColberTs; his father had always wanted to be Col-bear but didn't want to offend his own father by changing it, so he stayed ColberT but told his kids to choose. Some chose ColberT, others Col-bear. Stephen's been Col-bear since college. So when he calls himself ColberT on the show, in moments of "weakness," it's just for effect, as a joke about the idea that the character's this egotist who's trying to hide his past. It's not real.

  • Perfectly explained.

  • HEHE MR. COLBERT IS AWESOME , I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO MEET HIM .. I think hes interviews are great and interesting and insightful

  • I think hes having trouble keeping character lol

  • "The silent night!"

  • I love him! he is so funny, and seems to be a sweetheart in real life:) wooo!

  • Yeah he does seem like a sweetheart in real life and that makes him even more cute and sexy!

  • I know:)

  • paulsa lunatic

  • hilarious walk out

  • As his character, he says didn't vote for Obama. As Stephen Colbert, the man, he most certainly did vote for Obama. He was crying backstage after election night coverage with Jon Stewart because he was so happy Obama won.

  • maybe he didn't vote at all

  • You must not understand irony..

  • It seems like he's in some kind of semi-character here. Agree?

  • Colbert likes to pretend his last name is french that's why he drops the "t"

  • but he loves america so much.

  • I only watch TV at night, so go fuck yourself asshole.

  • fuck yeah i do dipshit

  • Actually, you're the dipshit asshole. His name is Colbert with the T... he's Irish Catholic. His CHARACTER is Stephen Coal-bear, the character he launched on the Daily Show... and it's made him famous, so that's what he goes with nowadays, is his character because that's how people know him, so stop being a dick and go get some friends for a change.

  • That's hilarious... posting a comment on a global public forum is a "conversation not involving me".... and then for extra idiocy you throw in "menopausal," making even less sense.

  • i don't remember you that much but from reviewing your comments, i don't much like you. i can't even see the last comment i made, it got too many thumbs down. you were vulgar so i thought i would return the favor. and i don't care how it used to be said, it is now pronounced COAL BEAR and is spelled COLBERT. hope that removed all doubts.

  • Actually, there never was doubt and you're still wrong...he still pronounces it Col-bert at certain times: whenever he gets too worked up, he catches himself and says "get it together Col-bert!" Also, his attorney brother he has on the show sometimes pronounces it Col-bert. Their father gave them the choice of how they wanted to do it.

  • you keep thinking i'm "wrong" and you are "right". let me remind you what i have said: it may have been pronounced coal-bert BEFORE but it is pronounced coal-bear NOW. there you go.

  • its not. if u watch a video where he says the title of his book u will hear him say it like "coal bear"

  • no it like saying "coal bear"

  • all right..

    rofl

  • I love how he slips out of character to have a brief grin at Palin.

  • Letterman should have given Colbert more time.

  • i love u Stephen!!!

  • I can't get enough of him! I love you STEPHEN!!

  • That is SO a tree of Gondor above the pirate flag! EPIC WIN.

  • Indeed it is, since Stephen has an obssession for LotR. He's such an interesting person. I think he may truly be an authentic genius.

  • Looked like the South Carolina flag to me. (I'm from NC, so I've seen it a lot.)

  • FUCKING EPIC! I am so in love with that man :)

  • TY for this.

  • Two of my favorite TV personalities...

  • Thanks little Brit
