  • Hi These brain gym exercises were suggested to me for me to try them with my children and I was particularly interested in trying the Hook Ups (where you fold your hands together) but I couldn't quite figure out how to do them from the written instructions. Now I know how to do them thanks to your video! Thank you. I appreciate it :)

  • Ahh..memories of Suzuki Method for Violin volume 4!

  • really thankx for this video !!

  • thq so much my friend , this video saved me from some unplesent situations.

  • @lol22750 I'm pleased this video has been useful to you. oh BTW, Happy cheat-free gaming! (I've had to record&report a few wallhackers too)

  • great video, but didn't enjoy the music, but i have a volume button :)

  • Annak a kéznek kell felül lenni a cook csomónál, amelyik láb van felül.

    én igy tanultam.

  • I liked the music that's good for the brain too! I just started brain yoga..going to do this everyday...

  • this music is relaxing whats it called?

  • no you see the reason people like you have panic attacks is shown in the first 5 seconds. Replace that water with a bottle of beer and all your problems will disappear.

  • @LIGHTRONIX

Freaking alcoholism is a major cause of anxiety and other similar problems. Freaking home breakers.

  • @proudmckinleyparent haha it was a joke, not surprised people here didn't take to it.

  • @LIGHTRONIX stupid

  • nice demonstration! loved the music with it.

To seekers - the exercises work :)

  • thanks for the video. By the way you got the same blue bottle I bought yesterday XD

  • What hapen to you, this brain gym exercise its for children. Don´t makes me lost my time.

  • 2 Feng Shui Tips: Sleeping with your head under the window is a giant recipe for anxiety. Also, having mirrors in your room leads to anxiety as well.

Thank you for the exercises, they really do work.

  • great video! but the music is greater... bay the way, please let me know the name of that classical

  • Thanks for the video. I will give it a try.

  • Nice video. I´ve recently discovered those techniques of brain gym. I think they are useful to relax when you have anxiety. Do you know if there is a technique to prevent the anxiety attacks permanently or make them lower?

  • @louis2500 I think these exercises helped my 'overcoming the anxiety attacks' but yes moreso for relaxing myself during the onset of an attack. I can't tell you exactly what got rid of them, but I believe I found my healing in this technique, moving meditation (Tai Chi & Qi Gong), eating wholesome food, exercising and having an understanding of what was really going on in my life to cause such anxiety. Ha, actually to think of it, all those methods were taught to me by my Mum. <3 you mum!

  • Dude you did this perfectly! so at my school in the morning to help us focus, we watch this video by you and do the excercises. Sometimes i forget how to do brain buttons and i watch this.

  • If you have really bad panic attacks certain antidepressants do a good job of blunting them. But if you take one that makes it impossible to have sex stop immediately, because the effect doesn't always go away.

  • Hi there, my daughter had panic attacks for 4 years from the time that she was 16 and became agoraphobic, staying stuck at home unable to function in the world. She got better now with behavioural therapy but I realize there is an easier way to work it out.

Thank you my dear as you are probably helping a bunch of others like my daughter with your video. It's nice and peaceful and I command you for doing this!

    Namasté

  • That's great. You are a hottie, too!

  • what do you guys think about meditation for anxiety?

  • Hello, I would like to start doing those moviments and I have a doubt. How much time do I have to do the moviments? I mean, are 3 minutes (like in this video) enough?

  • Hi there, if I ever felt nervous I'd start the PACE movements and would extend the duration of the cross crawls and hook ups until I felt better, the whole procedure never took more than 10 mins. O___O

  • chi gong is a good class too do to i do it every tuesdays and it helps me stay focused and also help you breathbetter try it yall

  • agreed. i would like to get back into practicing chi gong more often.

  • I asked an instructor of Brain Gym about how to alleviate panic attacks, and she recommended this exercise..I could only read how to do it, until now. I was doing it wrong..oops.

thank you for posting this, lovely room by the way. and you are handsome as well.

    :)

  • nice vid, i will definitely try that. I am on Vilift and it's really helping with my anxiety, i love it.

  • We use PACE in my preschool regularly as well as rhythmic movement exercises to integrate the FEAR PARALYSIS REFLEX.

One child, five years old, used to cry for at least an hour after getting dropped off. Since doing the exercises for fear paralysis and pace, he has turned into a happy go lucky guy.

  • hello..could you please give me examples of rhythmic movement exercises? i have selective mutism and social anxiety disorder and i read that it has something to do with a retained fear paralysis reflex..thank you so much..cognitive-behavioral therapy is not helping me..

  • I don't know rhythmic movement exercises, but I will ask my mum if she has any resources and if she does, make them available to you. if cognitive-behavioral therapy is not helping you, is there any other forms of behavioral or psychological therapy that may help?

  • I really like this video. Are panic attacks why you started doing these exercises? I am starting Brain Gym because of panic attacks, and I am glad that there are free resources out there for people like me. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • Hi Marie, I knew of these exercises before I had panic attacks -my mum went to a Brain Gym workshop- but first started using BrainGym to alleviate these strange bouts of anxiety. PACE is the only Brain Gym exercise I used and I did it as described (in the info sidebar). I don't know about the validity of other claims of Brain Gym but I experienced these exercises dissipate panic attacks many times & watched a class of rowdy children+adults calmed & focused after a minute of brain gym.

  • I'm glad you like the video :) Just letting people know what worked for me. Let me know how you go with your panic attacks. Tai Chi & Qi Gong also helped me a great deal. Thanks go to my Mum for teaching me these therapeutic forms of movement.

  • Thanks for posting this video! My daughter has neurological/trauma issues after living in an orphanage in China for the first 14 months of her life. I have wanted to do these PACE movements with her but we don't have Brain Gym classes near us. Your demo will help get us started until we can begin Rhythmic Movement Therapy and Neurological Reorganization Therapy in a few months. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Man, I think that any activity perform the same reactions in our brain than these basic actions or better.

  • Brill just Brill thanks mate lolxx

  • Excellent! I will use this with my class too!

  • I am a teacher who uses brain gym with my class. We PACE every day, although we don't take quite as long, and we usually do our hook-ups standing. I've had tough 5th graders who think they're too cool for school say to me that Brain Gym is tight! Try chanting something you want to remember while you're cross crawling. It's amazing how cross-crawling stimulates your memory! :)

  • p.a.c.e is so simple & cool.

brain gym has helped me a lot too.

    great video! =)

  • Anything that relaxes you will allow for better concentration. That doesn't mean you are any smarter. It doesn't mean that brain gym is effective at all in getting people to relax and concentrate. Brain gym is nothing but a hoax, a scam and very expensive one at that.

  • I've experienced the relaxing - or mind clearing - effect of brain gym and I think the main thing, it clears my mind of distractions, allowing me to concentrate on the task ahead. This obviously helps me in learning new things. I've watched a teacher struggling to control a room full of hyper kids making a ruckus, suddenly give their undivided attention after a few quick brain gym exercises. Scam?? I haven't paid a cent for all the techniques I learnt from a practitioner and the book I borrowed.

  • I would also like to add that research experiments so far support the P.A.C.E..

For "gusmacoz": Thank you for your video!! I was looking for something I could share with my sister who was recently introduced to the marvelous world of kinesiology. This will certainly please her.

As Masaru Emoto would say: Love and Gratitude!

    :)

  • are u a violinist?

    i recognise the background music

    it's Vivaldi's concerto in a minor 1st mvt.

  • no im not a violinist, though interesting u ask as i am considering learning violin.

i chose Vivaldi's concerto in a minor 1st mvt. for its cheerful yet calming effect. i hope to be able to play it one day!

  • Great Presentation!!! I am taking the class presently and was a bit leary of the possible results but I work with mentally challenged adults and I will use these techniques on myself to help me to relax since at times although a very rewarding career of 25 years there are those times when relaxation of staff involved is a great benefit!!! :)

    Thank You for the video!!!!

  • Thanks! I'm glad people are finding this video useful.

Isn't great when you realise it isn't just you, but all of us who need calm in our lives. Peace...Angus

  • Fabulous! It is so needed to see the midline cross in movement to be able to DO them. Simple and elegant; my autistic students have been helped soooo much with these. One mother stated that after her son did them with me, they later had their first calm, sit-down supper in 9 years!

  • I am struggling to not leave a sarcastic comment. I think I just may have succeeded, but just barely.

  • Thank you for posting this video. I am a teacher and I want to use this with my students at the beginning of the day, but had a hard time imagining what they would look like from just reading about it. I'm a visual person, so I need to see it. Thanks! :)

  • I am a Brain Gym instructor and I thank you for posting this video, Very clear, very helpful for those that ask what is PACE

  • Excellent demonstration. I have done this brain gym several times now and feel far more relaxed after each session. Actually I try to do once per day before going to sleep.

Where did you learn this ?

  • The relaxing effect of brain gym amazes me every time. My mum did the brain gym level 1 course and taught me this technique.

  • Thank you for this simple straight forward demo of the Brain Gym exercises used to awaken left-right brain hemisphere integration in those with Dyspraxia, also so highly common in people with autism.
