  • .. talk about going the long way round... should have just went up Barnacres Road, instead of going along Belswains Lane, then right up St Albans Hill, then another right up Leys Road.. ps, i thought before a played this that the song playing in the background was called "Wrong side of the road"... but in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England.. this is the correct side of the road to be driving on.

  • this is actually the correct side the only places i know of that they drive on the right side are america and germany.

  • lol, about 34% of countries drive on the left, the rest on the right. The only time you're on the wrong side is if you're on the right in a left side country or vice versa.

  • yep

  • You haven't heard of many countries then. You missed out most of mainland Europe, Russia, mexico, south America, Canada.........

  • And Norway!

  • nice bump

  • @TheIncinerators actually the vast majority of the world drives on the right side of the road

Almost the entire world, except for england, australia, newzealand, india, japan and some southern african nations drive on the left.

  • @CodArk2 And Scotland, Wales, northern Ireland and the Republic of ireland.

  • @04smallmj being an american, saying england is basically shorthand for the british isles or the UK. While technically incorrect, when i said england, i was including wales, scotland and northern ireland in that. I probably should have said UK instead of england, but i meant UK. Ireland i believe does because they were ruled by the UK fairly recently. though my point was the first sentence , that most countries drive on the rightside of the road

  • @CodArk2 I'll start referring to the US as Iowa then...

  • @04smallmj most people refer to the US as america. iowa is a state. wales is not a state of the UK, just a part the english conquered. since most people in the US have british ancestry, we refer to england as the mother country, the united kingdom sounds wierd to most american ears

  • @CodArk2 Britain is an alternative name to use...
