Dude ur a beast man love how you showed yourself catching the bait you use plus commentating rite on key man good vid keep it up .... Going fishing tomorrow :o) Pablo from California
@TheMoua07 yeah... it's advertised for high visibility above water, and disappears underwater. However I often have trouble spotting it above the water... yeah, it's a gimmick, but it's line that has caught fish and that's what counts.
you know whats's funny to me people ask about all the things your using as if they're going to use the same set up fishing is a game of luck & great video
@TNbassfishing I've caught some bass there, haven't done any videos yet. Nice smallies, spots and largemouth in there. A hat cam or tripod or some other camera mount would help with bass fishing.
@Teggster420 I don't remember now but I think it's something like a 2/0 Kahle. Use whatever fits the size of the bait. Oh and the bait was dead, not live.
I have a cast net but around this part of NC most of the lake and creek bottoms are dangerous full of stumps and branches. (It was tedious repairing it ... called "learning the hard way").
... and I still haven't tried night fishing ... I know it's fun.
@adamitshelanu Yeah the stumps and big loose rocks will tear em up. If you find a nice gravel area with some current, baitfish such as stonerollers and shiners usually sit in schools in the current. I have been fishing for 8 years but did not try night fishing until this spring. It is a lot of fun, especially for carp. I need to do a night fishing carp video very soon... stay tuned.
@itsjosh99 I usually hook them dead and puncture the gut area to let "gut juice" leak out. If I hook them live, I put the hook through the back above the spine.
@dobermanlee You got a point there... I know two people who caught a catfish over 30 inches long in that same hole last year. I will have to be more careful about anchoring the rod, since it is my #1 goal to catch one of the big cats in there.

You should never leave your reels in the dirt like that. I'd consider getting some pvc and making a rod holder.

@captainmess11NYR since this video I have picked up a few (and lost a couple) of the cheap coil rod holders from wally world. They are very useful

@liamkleckner. I have some red line and mine is called cajun. It may be what this is, too, but not sure. Walmart is where I got mine
135yota 1 month ago
@135yota Yup it was cajun line. Kind of hard to see it above the water sometimes though.
