@Shitsuren Because this was off his Japanese Album, and I am pretty sure he only released this song in Japanese and an English version. You are correct in that he is HUGE in Korea, but Japan is the 2nd biggest music country in the world only behind America. Korean artists step into Japan because it will broaden their fan base and make more money because Japan is wealthier. Not only that, Japan can be a stepping stone to America because of the Companies like Sony that are in Japan and America

@Shitsuren Japan is the second biggest music industry in the world. Companies like Sony, and other record labels have a subsidiary company or a smaller company in different parts on the world like the U.S. AVEX is one such record company that has a small subsidiary company in the U.S. Many artists go to Japan to make more money and attract more fans but it is also a stepping stone to the U.S. BoA, Se7en are some who have tried.
