I would like to know by what objective standards YOU define reality and morality ? The bible`s morality? Ever read the bible ? God`s morality ? How can you be certain what god`s morality is ?

Philos, how do you know God's morality? If you decide what God's morality is rather than allowing God to speak for Himself, you place yourself above God. You determine who He is and what He's like. You become the determiner of what another person is like, and because that person is God, you become the determiner of all reality. You make the standards. I don't think you would purposefully make that claim.

Hi Philos , I wasn't talking about the Bible :) , and I didn't mention anything about evidence. Though I do believe the Bible is the inspired word of God (for a number of reasons :) - its not a blind thing) . But I think it is worth noting the Bible is not my God . My relationship is not with the Bible but with Jesus. I do believe however that the Bible tells of what God has done .

Mark: The bible is the foundation. Remember: He can to FULFILL, not to abolish the law.The bible is the foundation of the new-testament.

I suggest, you do as I did. You read the bible slowly. After each verse or paragraph, you ask yourself the question: can this be written or inspired by a loving god. You will see how many times a reasonable person has to conclude negatively. The bible is NOT god`s word.

Jesus is the corner stone , and the church is founded upon the apostles and the prophets : ) . Though I do agree the Bible is very very essential - but it is worth noting the NT church did not have a complete cannon for quite a long time.

I think it is possible to come to that conclusion if you approach it with an incorrect perspective. The Bible shows me what God is like , I do not attempt to force my Image of God on to the Bible.

From reading and studying the Bible I see a God who is good , just and Holy as well as loving merciful kind and gracious and who has a plan for humanity.

God intends that He be glorified by us ENJOYING Him forever. (John Piper has vids on this) - Being in his presence , being with Him , marvelling at Him .

That man openly defied God. Mocking what He had spoken.God knows everything , and knew exactly what was in that mans heart.Thus He is able to perfectly judge not us.
