Tribute to Frederick - The Dachshund Extraordinaire

I just lost my best friend today...there are no words to explain the emptiness that I feel. Lloyd was a minitature dachshund of 17 years. I know the pain you feel...they become such an integrated part of your life...I will miss my baby dearly as I know you do also...he went blind in the last year of his life so now he is at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for me to join him, along with all those whom I have loved. We have loved and that is such a special feeling.

Frederick was definitely very loved. What an amazing story! I just lost my doxie boy Ziggy only 4 days ago, and I am still reeling from the pain. It has helped me to make his tribute video. Thank you for sharing yours.

To anyone who has ever loved a Doxie tributes hit hard. I hate to think of the day that my Doxie Gracie will no longer be around to smother me with wet kisses and defy my every household rule about dachshunds.

If you meet a dachshund that isn't extraordinary to the person they love, they aren't really a dachshund at all.

I totally agree.  I lost my best friend and companion Casey the dachshund on January 24, 2009. Treasure every moment you have with your precious doxie!

We're so sorry to hear of your loss. Last May we adopted Felix and Alvin (red short-haired miniature brothers), and we love them to death! They'll be 1 year on March 9th, and are both just under 10 lbs. We often tell them of Frederick. Take care.

What a wonderful little fellow. They are the most wonderful dogs in the world. These pictures make me cry. My own Dachshund died a few days ago. He was 14, he lived a happy life and we´re grateful we could share so much time with him.

We have this other dachshund now a female and she's about the age of 11 now. We got her when she was 5 when I was 18 a couple of months after my male dog left. She has spoken English and is so smart. She's like my sister/daughter/friend I call her lol. I relate with animals very well because I am an indigo :) Keep speaking to dogs especially pets who we share our life with. They help us love more for our good health. They relieve the stress in our lives and understand how we feel day to day :)(:

Wow he lived a good long life :) God bless I love all animals especially dogs but my favorite type of dog is the dachshund I had a male dachshaund from when I was 9 to 18 years old and he went away in a very rainy day when he was 11 we got him when he was 2 the day before that we took him to the doctor for his severe arthritis he would wake up with the pain. I had a dream about him 3 days after he left us and it was about him sitting down looking back at me but I couldn't get to him. He said bye

this was a sweet tribute to your dog. i am friends with your brother dan and he shared your video with me. now a few months later i have just had to have my sons doxie put down after 14 years due to paralysis. i immediately thought of your video and watched it again. thanks.....and i hope i can meet you one day.

I have a little doxie too and I cried my eyes out when I watched this! What a little cutie. I'm so sorry for your huge loss. You obviously loved him very very much!! What a lucky little guy. My doxie just had a recent scare...maybe a stroke-we're not sure. He is weak in his rear legs now and I am going to try Free and Easy for him. Thanks for a great product and thanks to Frederick too!

Frederick sure did have a busy full life, not to mention plenty of outfits. The beach, the games, the presents! So sorry for your loss. I discovered Frederick's Free and Easy a couple of months ago surfing the web, it has done so much to help my 11 year old great dane that was diagnosed almost 2 years ago with a calcified disc and quickly progressed into not being able to get up on his own. In just two months the attitude, weight gain and walking has improved so much.Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing with us the video of Frederick. He certainly was a Trooper, and a cute one at that. Our 2 Bichons will never be without their Free & Easy. It has done wonders with their joints!!

What a great tribute to a wonderful dog. Wish we would have found Free and Easy when my American Eskimo was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. We lost him 5/5/2005 and now we have a Lab that needs joint support for his elbows. Thanks to Fredrick and Free and Easy he is running for his ball again. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Losing such a precious member of your family is heart breaking. Thanks for sharing Fredrick with us.

What a wonderful tribute for a loving friend and companion. We found out about Free and Easy for our 10 year old Golden/Shepard mix Sonny Thru the web and Fredericks story. Sonny has arthritis in his front right shoulder and had gone completely lame at one point.  Free and easy has once again made it possible for Sonny to go on long walks he loves so much. I lost one of my dachsie's after back surgery and it was thanks to frederick and his story that I found free and easy.Oscar's back to full fitness and will be 11 in march, he's had his fair share of back problems. What a wonderful dog. We have two black and tan miniatures Archie and Doug - brothers to our son Freddie! Doug had to have emergency spinal surgery this year which has restored the use of his legs. The experience was sheer trauma. He is a plucky chap. Then I was told by a dachshund mad friend about free and easy. It is now part of their diet. Wow! this is an awesome tribute to a beautiful little guy! It was hard to watch not even knowing him, and knowing he's gone. I have three red eleven year olds and I saw so many of their traits here through Frederick..

What a beautiful tribute to a brave little dog! We also have a 14 1/2 year old yellow lab mix that has been helped tremendously by Free & Easy, and I am dreading the day when we have to do exactly what you had to do. He is a retired therapy dog who has brought happiness and smiles to many people over the years, especially me and my family. Living in Toronto Ontario I never had the privilege of meeting the wee badgerdog - I now will laugh and cry at the same time over the wonders that Frederick's medicine has been doing for my crazy active 10 year old Field Springer Spaniel's ankle injury of 4 years ago. I was privileged to meet Fredrick when I had to take my little Sassy to Canton for an MRI.She also had to have disk surgery,he was so sweet. Sassy had to have a second surgery and we now have her taking the Free & Easy.She also thinks of her experience as an inconvience and wants to play rough with her brother Hans and Mother Gretel..I thank you for telling me about the product and my heart goes out to Fredricks family.

That was a wonderful and loving tribute to Frederick. It made me cry hard for a very special dog I never met. My sweet babe Keagan(American Eskimo Spitz) just turned 17 years old on September 15, 2007. He is still going strong, but starting to lose some dexterity in his back legs. But what a difference Free & Easy has made. I wish you much comfort now and in the future. Thank God for Frederick!!!

What a wonderful tribute to a beloved family member! Free & Easy made a "new man" out of our beloved toy poodle, Andre, about 4 years ago now, and he's still going strong. The vet was recommending expensive surgery, and not even promising great results. Found out about Free & Easy, and within 3 days, Andre was back to his old self. The vet was amazed. Surgery was cancelled. Thank God for Frederick and his people!

We have so many wonderful memories of Freddy. What fun it was to watch Freddy chase our 2 cats Fluffy & Buffy around our farm house. Watch for his one paw raised - his signature pose. I miss my little boy terribly. Thanks to family and friends for all of their love and support. I will always celebrate Frederick's life.
