While I support your message, I don't think the world needs a minority to tell them they need more rights. Arguing for gay marriage by bringing up the prospect of divorce isn't the best rhetoric. They'll argue that marriage between a man and a woman with children is more stable from a sociological standpoint. Society is shaped that way and changing society can't be done in a day's legislation.

We are a couple in opressed kentucky. We are both 41 and March 18 will be our 21 yr. anniversary. We are expecting a baby about the same time in March. We already have living wills, wills, and everything is hopefully protected. Who knows? We are going to find out if all assets can go into a trust for child for an extensive ammt. of time hopefully for the surviving husband to avoid so many taxes..

I agree. You know, another reason that "they" don't want to give us any protection rights is because it's a "choice". I say we go with it, say it is a choice, and then when they try to deny us gay rights, we tell them that religion is a choice and that they're not allowed to have them either.
