beautiful video lots of arty shots looks a good place to visit shall have to do that one day.wonder how long they'll last the tide looked as if it's fairly fast flowing there.held me spellbound congrats on a great video.
dont local people go there and put coats and hats on them ? i would if i lived near there . i know the geordies put a massive necastle utd shirt on the angle on the north come on boys get some liverpool shirts on the statues
fantastic place to visit. i go with my family an friends quite often, its a lovely day out to just play in the sand an sea, take a packed lunch. great watching the boat coming an going up the river. its weird an fascinating to watch the tide come in an go out with the statues. great vid
You really have to see it to understand. I'm no lover of conceptual-modern art but it is truley spectaular to stand on the beach in the gloaming and watch as 100 bodies disappear into the darkness.
Anyone can, yes. But would you? And if you would, what would the statues be of and why? How many would there be, out of what material, and why? Would you want them larger than life, life size, or miniature? How big of a strech of beach would you use, how would you take into account the environmental pressures of the beach, and what would that mean?
It's these kinds of questions that make this art. And yes, anyone can make things and ask questions, so anyone can do it. ;)
Bahhhhh! Beautiful! :D

Easter Island springs to mind?? I like the 'another place' idea tho'. I'll have to have a visit!

Is this supposed to be a form of art? Anyone can stick a statue out near the ocean. What's the point?

I too live in Crosby. I think the statues should be doing different things though.. like standing, sitting, arms out etc

I like the way that my home town (Crosby) has been portrayed. A very insightful video
