  • Never again huh? Seems to me Avon forgot that lesson very quickly. At the end of the day hes just a gangster (he supposes), and he let his ego and his need for reputation get the best of him. Stringer spelled it out for him, when you beef for corners the cops are gonna be all over your ass. There's gonna be bodies, and people that aren't dead end up in jail. But, Avon wants his corners, so......

  • Toss them niggas!

  • 6:19 this is u get welcomed home

  • avon stole stringers shine

  • Avon barksdale O.G

  • I love how this clip starts and ends with people about to get laid.

  • 3:53 wow that girl is spectacular

  • to DougglesMagnificent:

She is fine. On "The Wire" Donnette is the only hot girl. The girl Avon sent to setup Marlo was nice also. The stripper Dangelo was with is ugly.

  • i remember when my mom bailed me outta jail for my driver with a suspended license... she had 2 whores waiting for me at home 2

  • I love how when Avon and Stringer get together again for the first time they reminisce. Then when they both are going their separate ways again they reminisce.

  • Press 6. Avon's a fucken G. Imma say that to girls who stare at me

  • haha fuck her letter.. wsas useless!!

  • the scene in the penthouse between avon and stringer where they were reminiscing about their youth....really showed the divide between the two as far as business and life goals was concerned. Avon always wanted to be out fighting, getting into shit, whereas stringer was more concerned with becoming a legitimate businessman and could care less about "going to war"

  • @Drummafolife avon didnt want to be out fighting, but he understood the game. he knew marlo and future marlos had to be taken care of. for all of stringers businessman talk he got hustled by clay davis.

  • this is the second best scene from the show, Where's Wallace being number 1

  • My man.... :-)

  • nigga who disliked this video is gonna get popped

  • avon was fly as hell though the suit and the air force ones

  • Crispy Air 1s with a suit....gotta love Avon lol.

  • The funny thing at 2:52, with Clay Davis, Andy Krawcyzk, and Maurice Levy, they're bigger crooks than the drug dealers. Of course, because they rip off drug dealers (just like Omar said him and Levy are the same, but with different methods), they probably rationalize their actions as public service as opposed to sheer avarice. Davis implied as much to Lester in the series finale.

  • @Shack83 I'd nominate Levy as the most immoral character of the whole bunch.

  • Thats sum buuulshit

  • Did Avon get 2 pussy first night from the joint?????

  • Stringer mentions about how back in the day they used to talk about their dreams. Avon mocks Stringer about how he had black pride and wanted to own a couple grocery stores. Stringer mocks Avon for being all about soldiering. Really shows how different the two of them are and foreshadows their crumbling relationship.

  • ha, look at Daniels putting game down on the DA. LOL.

  • lol

  • i love this series man! For real best series ive ever watched in my life actually grabs you and makes you live in there moment! real talent i swear i got love and respect for avon in this man! no homo :)

  • I love how this clip starts and ends with people about to get their freak on.

  • I feel ashamed to admit i've seen only season 1-4. Is season 5 the best one?

  • @hiphopheadism its not the best one in my opinion, but certainly an amazing season to end an amazing series.

  • avon gets freedom = WIN

  • that 1 dislike is from the baltimore police department

  • Stringer with the black tie and suit at the club is a great example of him trying to change the mentality of the street game but also doing it in vain.

  • @Greeneyez2475 he playing monopoly

  • im tryna watch this from season 1 all the way to 5 and. i saw season 5 every sunday even cheated and seen it on demand. thanks for all the uploads peace.

  • what movie is this

  • Comment removed

  • @laossantarosa Fail.

  • giggity

  • I would think that Avon would have made one phone call from the car and stopped off and taken care of business with about 5 girls before he even got to the club.

  • 0:22

  • 3:26 Shows just how smart Avon is. He knew what Krawcyzk, Levy and Clay Davis were all about which is why he got up and left early. He should've told Stringer, though. Would've saved him time and money.

  • @Shack83 never thought about that...true

  • @Shack83 i thought it was more the fact that avon isn't interested in the business side of the game. hence his iconic quote; "i'm just a gangsta, i suppose"

  • @CHID100 In the penultimate episode for season 3, when Stringer tells Avon about Clay Davis' theivery....Avon responds with, "I seen it comin'".

  • who needs bouncers when you got slim charles?

  • I just want to say to loveydoveypeace, you are a fucking hero. I have spent a stupid amount of time on youtube watching your vids. It doesn't go unappreciated you legend, thankyou!

  • @jimbob0025

I agree. I didnt even watch The Wire but since I like looking at Wood Harris, right now, I'm burning valuable work time watching Wire clips :-)

  • @jimbob0025

Well said and I feel the same way. I loved this show!

  • LMAO!! @ 00:23 Dats some bullshit....

  • We brothers B, then they sold each other out!!! No honor amongst thieves....

  • end of this was ironic....being that they ended up ratting each other out

  • @baltimoreson yeah but i alway's felt stinger was the real rat, he was the only one to talk to police, plus stringer forced avon to set him up. avon was only doing what anyone would do in that postion. if stringer would of just listened to avon and let brother mouzone do what avon paid him to do (intead of trying to set him up) then avon would of had no reason to sell him out. where as string just forgot who he was and started doing his own thing. stringer deserved to be sold out, avon didnt.

  • @slimithy12 ..You forget. Avon lost his connect with Roberto because he got out so early from the can, that means 'no product'...Prop Joe had the good shit. Stringer was a business man, Avon was no different that Marlo..street thug to the bone.

  • @WiseGuy5674 true, but avon was just doing what he alway's did. he stayed true to the game and remembered what got him there in the first place. stringer forgot who he was and how he got so powerful in the first place. stringer was a gangster who thought he could go legit. yet as soon as he stopped being a gangster he got killed, if he just stuck to avons plan they might both of been alright.

  • @slimithy12

real talk personally ever since avon went jale stringer acted like a litl bitch

    snakey as fuck

  • thats howthe fuck u come home after being knocked for two bullets,,,avon was always a street nigga reguardless what stringer kept popping about going legal,,see clay davis jerked his stupid ass

  • Avon's look @ 1:39 is great.

  • String is that guy, swear to my creator, good lookin out yo

  • That was before when they had each others backs. They betrayed each other afterwards. Damn.

  • levy is a good damn lawyer

  • Of course, a white girl.

  • What was Avon trying to say by "I've been locked down"?

  • @kandinskyforfootball he meant that its been a while since hes gotten any ass.

  • levy ripped that parole board apart

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh feels good comin back home

  • "My Man"....lol

  • miss the wire sooooo much

  • If Avon never went back to jail. How would win between Avon and Marlo?

  • LOL!! that was funny! they all happy like yeah, Avon ain't going nowhere after that letter.. then fast forward to Levy who just tears their offence apart! he is the slickest lawyer! Daniels and Pearlman must have been red with rage!!

  • my bad that song is on the wire soundtrack i beleive its called "Baltimore club music" its by somebody from baltimore

  • @wishmart

    Downloaded all soundtrack Cds.

  • "I see you dress left"

  • @wishmart

    Nah mate its not ....

Im sure that its not On fire track ...

its some kind of trip hop track ... r'n'b ... maybe.

Mayb anyone still can help me with the track on 3:40 - 4:00 minute

  • Guys please help me to recognise the song that plays in club when avon asks slim to deal with 2 guys.

Awesome track. Trying to find it...

    PLEASE !!!!!

p.s. sorry for my poor english but i hope u got me

  • what is the name of this movie?

  • lol,this is not a movie bro

  • Twilight, or New Moon. One of them

  • The Barksdale sure know how to throw a party

  • Fuck The Wire is so sick!

Oh, and to everyone below - if you're going to use capitals for emphasis, learn to do it correctly, for fuck's sake.

  • So Clay was a thug... Things all make sense now. I missed that on the DVD.

  • Hehe, you don't want to believe anything Clay Davis says, it's tailor made Bullshit,

  • Jrilla1879 is "ACTUALLY" telling you absoluetly the truth. Because THE WIRE was based upon REAL CHARECTERS. WHO GAVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE STREETS TO THE WRITERS.

Avon and stringer bell are fictional names but were REAL people. The detective mcnulty was REAL. His character was helped by the REAL mcnulty. Who arrested the REAL fictional Stringer Bell in Baltimore. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE WIRE YOU LAMES.

  • your a dumbass avon and stringer wernt based on any one person just a collection of characters dramatized the director and creators are ex police and media..his words say that they were based on a few differnt ppl thru there time in baltimore...DO YOUR RESEARCH..LMAO

  • The writers of the show were actual police officers in B-more.The characters are based on real people.

  • Avon came up wit a master plan mad respect 4 that nigga!!!! He did what he had 2 do!!!!

  • it's a tv show

  • And you know this from sitting at a computer? You dont know shit!

  • You just proved to me that you are 5x more "cornier" that i thought you were.

  • You're taking your shit a lil too seriously son. Remove your hand off the caps button and just calm down

  • "You was on some black pride shit" that's some real life talk ,great writting.

  • If everybody came home to a party and two beautiful women after doing a stint in prison... you'd see lines around the corner full of niggas trying to get locked up.

  • no you wouldn't, shut up

  • You sure? People go to jail for a lot less and come out with shit to show for it.

  • Thats some bulllllshit.

  • "i know you don't want to go back to them streets.."how wrong can you be, that's what he wants more than anything else.

  • Shit, when I heard her say "dress left", I thought she was talkin' about the way the man's "junk" leans.

    I myself, "dress right".

  • that's what it means. where your dick rests

  • Ha, at 3:46 slim had them by their necks

  • 0:02 I didn't know Maxi Jazz (Faithless) was in here.

  • umm thats not maxi jazz from faithless.....thats lance reddick

  • "umm thats not maxi jazz from faithless.....thats lance reddick"

Sorry I thought only a wise man would recognise I allready knew its not Mazi Jazz. He sure hell looks like him though.

"Never judge a book by its cover"

  • 2:54 - Look here is William Shatner!!

    Lol!!

  • Stringers english accent really comes out in when he knocks on the door saying he left somethin

  • does anybody know what "dressing left" means? Maybe I'm dumb but I have no clue what that means...lol

  • If you notice, she was looking at his crotch area, and noticed his zipper. The handle to the zipper was more than likely shifted to the left side and was probably exposed so she could see it. This was the beginning of their love affair. Perlman was a hoe anyway, and was interested in a Mandingo. Daniels fit the mode.

  • back in the day, mens suits were all custom made and pants were cut differently. the expression "dressing to the left" or to the "right" meant that you had your tailor leave more room in the crotch area on either side for your johnson

  • @chromezeppelin Haha, now it makes sense. A friend told me that Levi's jeans used to have their fly on the other side. But most men usually point that way, so they changed sides.

  • @chromezeppelin

thats not true and its not what it means in this scene

shes noticing that his penis is tucked down to his left pant leg

  • @gauchebag you fucking idiot lol. that's what he was saying.

  • avons biggest mistake was made when he looked back at 2:15 once you get out never look back at that prison

  • Levy is sharp

  • I been in here for 26 months and u come pick me up in a muthafuckin ford lol

  • "Toss them niggas."

That's Sapper and Gerard. Those two simple ass gump gangstas.

  • "I see you dress left..."

Daniels about to get all up in them guts.

Pearlman and Daniels were an awesome couple.

  • @danielhiryu hahahhha all up in them guts, hahahaha funnier than a mutherfucka

  • at 1:37 Avon was like "look, do you wanna die?" LOL

  • LMAO at 6:26 at Avon's reaction!

  • That Pearlman bitch is a HORRIBLE lawyer. You notice how she's ALWAYS getting her ass kicked by Levy? Maybe she should worry less about moving up the career ranks and worry more about being a better lawyer.

  • @senorpachangaz not always that simple. She had to deal with a dirty police department that Levy knew how to take advantage of. Alot of times her hands were tied. That's how it is in real life with alot of S.A.'s.

  • That's som Bull-shit at .25 is hilarious

  • I wonder if Avon & Marlo know dey have tha same lawyer?

  • yeah marlo knew

  • levy didnt become marlo's lawyer till season 5
