These acoustic versions really show her in her element. There was no screaming audience to play up to, so she showed up sober(relatively) and sang her ass off. You really see how shy she was here even singing in front of a couple people. She sang with such abandon but then looked around timidly after the song was over, afraid to make eye contact. That sensitivity makes for great art, but it also killed her. Love you Amy, wish I could've told you in person.

I am AMAZED as to how many people still think that Alcoholism is simply an "addiction." People... it's a DISEASE!!! Before you SLAM someone for being in a current situation, EDUCATE YOURSELF!! @91keb there's been reports that, allegedly, they couldn't find any substances in her body during the autopsy. apparently, the family thought that her quitting alcohol is what killed her because her body was so dependent that when she tried to quit cold turkey, it shocked her system.

i don't know if i believe that or not but i agree it is a waste. i don't think that we could really blame amy winehouse herself because she reportedly had mental health issues and the media was no help.
