Vamp is OK. Vampyres wasn't as good as I was expecting. Mark of the Devil lacks gore, not explicit, and sufferes from horrible dubbing. But not a bad film.
Yes, they pinched several dvds and removed the inserts of about 12 cds I and a freind ordered. Two seperate packages confiscated at the same time. Welcome to 1984!
Do you ever have any problems with the wankers from customs opening your packages.? Heaven forbid Australian adults should have the right to watch films that the rest of the world is free to watch.

Thats what I thought when I looked at the Mark of the Devil DVD - packed with features! BU really outdone themselves. Oh, yes, never thought of that - the German customs would probably be even more against horror films, especially Nazi themed ones. Yes, broke down on In the Folds of the Flesh. Was quite expensive, but I could only see it getting more expensive, so I thought it's my best chance to get it now. Thank you very much for watching my friend.

Different cover - had a white faces with yellow eyes and bloody fangs. Yes, I got that PW boxset too :D. Great item for the price. The Other O still don't know too much on, but it's suppose to be very creepy.

I definitely need more pete walker films! Mark of the devil is one of those dvds that I have been meaning to buy for quite sometime. That SS triple feature boxset looks cool and so does bad dreams! In the folds of the flesh was one of those giallos I was never sure about getting, but I will check it out eventually.

Vamp looks really fun! i remember it was on region 4 at one point but i never saw it in stores, The Final Chapter dvd looks great with commentarys and stuff! too bad our new Friday 13th dvds (with exception of 2 & 3) are bare bones with only new cover art.

I had never heard about Deep Discount despite watching all those dvd updates, and now it's the second time today (that 25% sale), so i took a look at that site. Friday the 13th pt4 is my favourite of the series, so i enjoyed every lost footage this guy Dan Farrands found (he produced the special features for the new editions of parts 4 to 8, since the first 3 "deluxe" have disappointed many). Thanks again for reminding about entertaining but often forgotten titles from the 70s and 80s.
Hey there. Yes, DD is a great site for buying film! The 25% sale is an occasion lots of movie fans wait for with baited breath lol. Yeah, I think the new batch of F13 Deluxe Edition are better done than the previous 1-3 releases. The features seemed more interesting and well produced.
Slaughter Hotel! Always happy to see somebody pick up some Di Leo. The Confessional and The Comeback are the two most fun Walker films I think. Many cool titles coming out of that box! Bad Dreams I'm a big fan of. Love these unboxing videos! Ah! NICE movie at the end. :)

Yeah, that's how it went. Haven't been consciously collecting them - except for maybe 2 or 3. I may have more, the list seems to be different every site I read it at! Would be good to get them all one day, lots have no proper DVD release though like you know.
Yeah! your best bet for getting some of em' is either buying a bootleg or downloading it from a torrent. Apparantly Glenn got his version of Mardi Gras Massacre off Amazon or eBay or something all brand new, but I think he may have downloaded it, I probably will if there's no real release.
True. I'm not trying to accuse Glenn or anything, but even if it did have a release, I wouldn't buy it, cause from what i've heard from Glenn about it, it's absolute crap, so I would download it cause i don't like to pay money for shit movies.

lol, Hey mate. Yes, I've never had anything seized either. Just heard some horror stories is all. I was told its usually bigger packages that are searched - so been worrying about some of my big buys because they've had stuff that would probably be RC. Nothing really too extreme in this package though :D
No. They are supposed to forward any seizures to the OFLC, or an assigned trained custom's officer, for a classification. If it passes, you get the DVD, if not, it gets seized and you get a notification and a 'warning' not to do it again (it's like whatever!).

Vamp looks really fun! i remember it was on region 4 at one point but i never saw it in stores, The Final Chapter dvd looks great with commentarys and stuff! too bad our new Friday 13th dvds (with exception of 2 & 3) are bare bones with only new cover art.

Vamp is one of those Ive heard so much about and Ive heard a lot of people enjoying it. Slaughter Hotel is sounding better and better. The Confessional sounds amazing! DAMN 30 EACH! Wow you should pick them all up and resell them, make yourself a little something on the side if your normal job ( I do it with albino weasels imported from Mane)
BAD DREAMS Is one of my all time fave films! Hay! In the Folds of the Flesh!! I was looking at that at work, it looks awesome!

Hey Andre :D. Vamp is one you can't really go wrong with yeah - fun stuff :D. Slaughter Hotel looks like its going to be one sleazy, bloody ride - can't wait :D. The Confessional is quite strange but is heaps of fun, and has a great central performance. lol, actually thought about buying a few of those SS packs and selling them yeah :D. I had never heard about Deep Discount despite watching all those dvd updates, and now it's the second time today (that 25% sale), so i took a look at that site. Friday the 13th pt4 is my favourite of the series, so i enjoyed every lost footage this guy Dan Farrands found (he produced the special features for the new editions of parts 4 to 8, since the first 3 "deluxe" have disappointed many). Thanks again for reminding about entertaining but often forgotten titles from the 70s and 80s.

Hey there. Yes, DD is a great site for buying film! The 25% sale is an occasion lots of movie fans wait for with baited breath lol. Yeah, I think the new batch of F13 Deluxe Edition are better done than the previous 1-3 releases. The features seemed more interesting and well produced.

Slaughter Hotel! Always happy to see somebody pick up some Di Leo. The Confessional and The Comeback are the two most fun Walker films I think. Many cool titles coming out of that box! Bad Dreams I'm a big fan of. Love these unboxing videos! Ah! NICE movie at the end. :)

Hey Gray - Genghis is doing well. He's be ravenous lately though, can't seem to sate his appetite. Yeah, not sure if he had those other fish in there last video. Gunnar the Cat has been good too - been sleeping on my pillow at night with me lol. Vamp is a cool little campy 80's flick, well worth a purchase. Yep, that's Vampyres - a strange film, but I like it.

Hey man :D. Yeah, I was the same with Slaughter Hotel, could only seeing it getting more expensive though, so picked it up. Vampyres is really weird but succeeds at being a very gothic erotic vampire flick. Lots of...ahem, flesh :D. I got the Confessional because I wanna complete my Pete Walker horror collection. Great director. You got the Shriek Show 4 pack for that much? Lucky bastard! Yeah, I need to upgrade my F13 sequels too. SS Pack is a hell of a deal I agree. Thanks for the comment man

Yeah, that's how it went. Haven't been consciously collecting them - except for maybe 2 or 3. I may have more, the list seems to be different every site I read it at! Would be good to get them all one day, lots have no proper DVD release though like you know.

Yeah! your best bet for getting some of em' is either buying a bootleg or downloading it from a torrent. Apparantly Glenn got his version of Mardi Gras Massacre off Amazon or eBay or something all brand new, but I think he may have downloaded it, I probably will if there's no real release.

Hey there Justin ;). Vamp is pretty similar to something like Fright Night - if you liked that, it's a good bet you like Vamp. The Confessional is quite deranged, but still wickedly entertaining. Yeah, F14 IV got a solid DVD release. Bad Dreams I think you'd like again mate - the Anchor Bay DVD is very cheap too at the moment. Thanks man.

I was told its usually bigger packages that are searched - so been worrying about some of my big buys because they've had stuff that would probably be RC. Nothing really too extreme in this package though :D

No. They are supposed to forward any seizures to the OFLC, or an assigned trained custom's officer, for a classification. If it passes, you get the DVD, if not, it gets seized and you get a notification and a 'warning' not to do it again (it's like whatever!).
