This is my all-time favorite Seger song, for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, he doesn't play this one in concert. Just saw him 3 weeks ago at Scottrade Ctr in St. Louis, he still kicks ass! If u haven't seen him in concert in awhile, be advised, he is still awesome! Go see him!

Bob did sing this fab tune at the Toledo Concert 3/31/11. Awesome!!!  26 tunes in all. Amazingly Bob shows no signs of slowing down. SBB sounded better than ever.

If he's coming to a town near you, I highly suggest you attend.

@Keto5097 ya the concert on May 12 in Minneapolis was great, he did a lot of classics and songs I never heard before. But the energy from Bob and the group displayed was awesome, I thought I was hearing him on his prime.

@swomac8199 Me to brother Me too. I my little warped world. I think about it all the time. I was 18 in 1979. So i grew up with all this classic rock music. THIS IS MY MUSIC! and it pisses me off when i see so much shit from young people about how this is better that that. Fuck that! I would NEVER trade my life experiences growing up in the 70's. NO WAY. Yeah I may be on my way out in a decade or two. But i lived during the best music created ever. Nothing today remotely comes close NO WAY!

What a great, happy closer to a darn good album! Those crunchy drums.. Alto's sax... soulful background vocals... crystal piano playing... and Seger of course - all mixed to perfection. Totally underrated.... like so many of Seger's songs.

Thanks for posting this video. Shining Brightly is a happy tune I feel. Love it.

Also while going to and from the store today had to listen to Live Bullet one more time. The whole album rocks.

Then I skipped a few songs had to listen to Let It Rock one more time.

there is a video out there somewhere of seger doing that song from 1980 tour.
