liquid liner is soo much easier. and it also looks prettier. pencil eyeliner smudges and looks fat, especially if your pencil is not sharpened, which most of the time will be the case since you've used the pencil liner for a while. LIQUID EYELINER!!!

Honestly, I started off with liquid liner and always found it easier than a pencil liner.

When I got the hang of liquid liner I graduated to pencil liner which seems to me to be more precis. I rather is pencil now.

yes you can, its possible to make your eyes go in two diferent directions at once, and theres no need to close of them. one of my friends can do it, he has normal eyes like mines and yours. i mean he doesnt look down and straight at once but he looks to right and left same time, ive seen people do that so yes it is possible

i dont think anyones answering your q, but i get your point lol. in the vid, the makeup artist is doing the cat eye FOR the woman, therefore she can look down, but when your doing it yourself you cant look down. < thats basically what your asking.

and the answer is that you dont look down :P i dont think the makeup artist explained it well, what you do is just lightly squint your eyes (if that makes sense), so that you can see your eye lid well enough, but you can still see what your doing.

Most make-up artists use this one. Its the best and yes pricey. Try a cosmetics company outlet, should be one near you where it could be a few pounds/dollars cheaper. Also Dubai airport if you or anyone is travelling soon may stop there. Alternatively try Mac gel eyeliner you also apply with a brush or Rimmel liquid liner or prestige liner is good, you may have already tried them. Ask for a make-over or if they can just put the liner on you at a Bobbie Brown counter :) Good luck :)
