What a good girl, she seems to do great. Did it take a lot of work. I need to do this with Buddy, take him to were he has distraction and do his tricks.
@Bo0skiesz - not a lot of work but it does take consistency. Just remember to lower your expectations a bit in the higher distraction areas and slowly build them back up and make things harder as they get better about the distractions.
Such a beautiful dog! I'm becoming a very huge fan of the breed, and I'm trying to do all my research now so in a year or two when the time is right, I can get one for myself!
The more and more I research I do the more it becomes apparent that any dog, regardless of breed, is simply a product of their environment and the dedication the breeder has to successfully raising their puppy. Keep up the good work!
Hey, really nice! I truly love staffys, nice to see one so well-trained. If you want, in my videos you can see my mutt doing some tricks that i taught her (although i go wrong a lot of times :P). In some years i'm pretending to get a staffie. Are they too stubborn? Cindy is my first dog, and she's very submissive so i'm afraid of getting a staffie and it going out of hand. How hard is to raise them? Do your dog get along with others?
@paulabatistadesouza Just like any breed Staffies come in all flavors of personalities. Some are stubborn, some are easy going, some crazy, some are mellow. But they're all pretty darn loving. I find they are usually easy to train. Violet has been hard to train but as you can see it can be done. My other dog, Sadie, has been much easier. Both staffies but both very different personalities.
Just wonder what food you use as rewards for your dog ??
