  • 3:25 , jizzed in my pants!

  • Get a snark tuner dude

  • Hey thanks a ton man, good vid. I like this song and I appreciate you putting this up here.

  • When this man sings he looks like he suddenly becomes a deformed disabled retard

  • We're learning how to play this at school in our Guitar Club. This is the 2nd song were learning. Thanks! Great tutorial! :)

  • very nice lesson thank you

  • Ive been playing a version off of ultimate guitar, i started a month ago and this is just a great tutorial

  • Just a quick recommendation. I am a guitar player who knows quite a few chords, however for those who don't know what the d and g chords are, I would recommend you explaining how those are played instead of just expecting everyone to know them, but other then that, awesome vid. Really enjoyed your lessons.

  • what is the strum pattern and how many times?

  • Im new to playing guitar and i just want to thank you for a great tutorial!

  • your a brilliant guitarist but singer ... no coment oh yer and dont you hate it when two top comments are the same ;)

  • well done!

  • remember! this vid is not about singing!

  • your voice per se is not bad, it's the way you sing that makes me just wanna punch you in the face. sorry. good tutorial though

  • hi. at 2:12 u say it goes to a 'c', it does look like the c i am used to playing; could u please explain it. Great vid and very very good. Thanks.

  • @blitz2bits Here's a cool trick. If you play a G chord with your middle finger on the 3rd fret of the low E string and your pointer finger on the 2nd fret of the A string, simply move both of those fingers one string closer to the floor. That means your middle finger moves to the 3rd fret of the A string and your pointer finger moves to the 2nd fret of the D string. (Your other G chord finger(s) don't need to change.) You've just gone from a G chord to a C chord by doing that.

  • @blitz2bits If you move your middle and pointer fingers each one more string closer to the floor (middle finger on 3rd fret of the D string, pointer finger on the 2nd fret of the G string), you now have made an F chord. Moving just those two fingers one string each closer to the floor is a much easier way to do quick chord changes without having to pick all your fingers up and make an entirely different shape with your hand. Your other fingers act like an anchor and remain in the same place.

  • Can anyone plz tell me the strum pattern.

  • great job. I learned the whole thing just watching once. thanks.

  • you should explain the strum pattern! that would help more cuz anyone can just say the chords and play the song if you know it already. i dont no it and the strumminfg isnt helping

  • but i find ur C somewat unusual can u explain it 2 me

  • its a Cadd9 its a differant versino of C its basicly a C chord only you add the (th note in the C scale which is D thats y it looks like a G major chord

  • thx but r u sure cause the guy on the video said it was a regular C major chord?

  • ima musician to and to me it looks like a C add9 . but i saw him go between the regular C and the Cadd9

  • he plays a Cadd9, not an actual C

but going from a G to a Cadd9 is easier, since you only have to move the top two fingers each a string down

  • this comment was ment for Pueeman

  • thx dude ur good at teaching songs

  • jjjj

  • The song was written by Neil Diamond - not the Monkees. As a songwriter myself, I beg of thee, give credit where credit is do.

  • thanks, but i think that's actualy Cadd9 and not C how you call it.

  • youre right. but cadd9 is a c chord so hes right also

  • no...

a Cadd9's shape starts as a C Major Open but last two strings are from the G chord

  • Thanks man!

  • i like your couch. and nothing else. 5 stars

  • neil diamond wrote this
