im 85% sure it will rain this year at ALIVE it has rained for the past 4 years. but its so much fun and it doesnt stop anyone from having a lot of fun. i work the festival every year and i get to meet a lot of the bands and speakers it is really incredible
it was totally worth it because it was one of the best concerts i've been too :)
and yes! we do not want rain next year (Even though it practically rains every year) it might not rain next year cause we're moving :D and if it does rain it won't matter cause our roads are going to be paved.
wow whoever was in that crowd should be ashamed of them selves! i meen they werent even jumping or anything, switchfoot travels all the way from sandiego and this is how u repay them!
I know!!! Alive 09 people were like on sleeping pills. No one hardly jumped or got crazy for any bands!!! It was pitiful. During As I Lay Dying i had to push people out of the way because they were just chilling...chilling front stage at As I Lay Dying?!!? no dice...

Not completely true. First of all, you couldn't mosh. Second of all, it's a Christian music festival, so most people weren't into it anyways.
The biggest problem was the mud, though. I was up to my ankles in it, my feet completely submerged in the smelly stuff, and a lottt of other people were, too. It was hard to even move without losing your shoes, let alone jump.

The mud there was INSANE. I didn't have a place to put my shoes, so I couldn't go up that far because of the mud.

my shoes were destroyed (which is why I'm thankful for the new paved roads we are going to get at the new resort)
like i literally sunk into the mud (like so many others) it was just insane!!!

Oh man, I'm really sorry.
My shoes were canvas so I thought for sure they were ruined, but after 2 washes they were good as new.
I know, I'm wicked excited for next year. Hopefully it doesn't rain.
