  • tiene tantas versiones cover pero esta me gusta mas = )

is the truest you’ve ever had.

  • who's that guy in 1:01 ?

  • Why. Isn't. This On. iTunes!!!!

  • i will john

  • It just shows that a music lovers age makes a big difference, merely what you are brought up with, and for me,I left the High School in 1962.C'm Arthur Alexander,it's the best........

  • I'd surrender to John any day.

  • It certainly is NOT the original from the great ARTHUR ALEXANDER as that original Track is unbeatalble even by this pretty soul-less rendition, and this is NOT the Beatles either no way Jose......

  • i know who wrote this song..it was alexander the grape.

  • This and the Arthur Alexander versions blow the rest away

  • I was a teenager in the 60s but I must say I prefer the Pearl Jam version.

  • Marshall Crenshaw does a great version too.

  • this song fails pearl jam is better

  • how can you people not tell that its john singing? its so distinctive.

  • they are trully great, but in this particular song, I gotta go for Pearl Jam.

  • PQP CARALHOOOOO

  • this? Much bettar than pearl jam.

  • the first time I heard it, I thought I was going to faint: if I already loved John, with this one, he got me even more

  • if you mean the singing... this is paul mccartney

  • According to a site called The Beatles Bible, the lead vocal here is indeed John, and the site quotes George introducing it as such. I tried to post a link to the site but it didn't work; just google Beatles Bible. Any stats you want to find on any song will be there. Great site!

  • yea i think you're right actually... they sound super alike in my opinion but after listening to this and a few other songs i can tell a slight difference

  • I'm sorry but is John, you just have to listen that nasal john's style. Very him.

  • i take smack for a laugh

  • I was twelve when the Beatles hit . I'm old now but I was there and I'm grateful for the most wonderful experience.

  • Lucky you. Lots of kids form 80s-2000s generation are dying to be in the 60s! None sing/write songs like them now.

  • another great song by The Beatles

  • (L)(L)

  • ''use your arms for loving me thats the way it should be''

  • See that!!! Ur getting thubs down like theres no tomorrow, Come on even Nirvana blew P Jam away, they are good but, cum on this is the Fuckin BEATLES!!!

  • @handsomedevil98 pearl jam are better than nirvana but the beatles are much better than both : )

  • An example of musical genious by the greatest band that the world will ever see. I can't see why this was not included on one of their early albums

  • This is not a beatles song. It's a cover thats apears in the album live at BBC. This was eight in earlier 60's, and became famous with Arthur alexander in 62.

  • Dont know what you mean by This is not a Beatles songPerhaps you meant that none of the Beatles wrote thisThis IS true This was a BBC's SOTS Beatles A to Z song & IS counted by The BBC & many other orgs as a BEATLES song The short docu. that is made on the weekly Beatles Ato Z list recognises that Arthur Alexander made this song famous The Beatles made famous many other songs written by other people! The King - Elvis may not have written any songs Dont know what you mean by This was 8 in early60s

  • Yes. None of the beatles wrote this song. That's what i really mean to say.

  • best voice in rock ever.

  • JOHN FUCKING LENNON! IS THE singer im a huge fan of his and i know his voice BY HEART!

  • The diference between Petes drumming and Ringos is incredible

  • who is the real singer of this song ? Please write a answer!

  • John Lennon.

  • arthur alexander song

  • john lennon

  • @quietscheentchen15 John's singing in this video, Paul and George are singing backup.

  • @quietscheentchen15 the beatles who else

  • @quietscheentchen15 : Arthur Alexander!!!! The Beatles did like 2 or 3 covers of his songs. Very good

  • @quietscheentchen15

    John is the singer.

  • @quietscheentchen15 it is pearl jam!

  • @quietscheentchen15 i'd like to know as well! i'll research it and if i find out will let you know too~

  • @quietscheentchen15 well, from what I found and really thought but wasn't positive..it's John singing lead~ There, now we both know..lol

  • Is Ringo singing the lead. This is weird sometimes it sounds like Lennon...I thought I would always pick up who is singing parts...

  • Just looked it up... it is Lennon!

  • no way could ringo sing like that lol deffinetly lennon, he's got soul

  • I know it was Lennon. But sometimes the phrasing had a Ringo touch.

  • i honestly dont think this is one of their best songs. im not saying its a bad song im just saying i dont think its the best.

  • i am totally agree with you, moreover is just a cover, a good cover...greetings

  • It's the Beatles mate

  • Yes I do know that mate I'm not a complete idiot, I was trying to say I prefer the Pearl Jam cover better.

  • It's a great song regardless who sings it.

  • yeap

  • i never really liked the beatles until i listned to this song, its auesome!

  • so start listening to it....it's a great band...read the biography by Bob Spitz...it's good too

  • arthur alexander song.

  • I'm glad The Beatles did this for the BBC, at least. Pity, and absolute pity they didn't record it properly for an album/single in '64!

  • in itself is! ... but less evil that we can only register the BBC so that future generations could enjoy and appreciate the ...

    greetings ...

  • Thanks! I fully agree that this should have been recorded as an album/single This is a very early example of their musical genius & potential to come - - - - before they switched their rocket engines on & headed for the stars

  • I heard Pearl Jam sing this once but who actually did it orginally?

  • the original version is: Arthur Alexander, and belongs, the original version, the year 1962.

I hope you have served as something my comment ...

    greetings

  • Soldier Of Love
