  • how big is it?

  • does it breakdown like the real thing?

  • Looks like the turret you'd see on a World War II destroyer.

  • @lukebccb world war 2 tank destroyers mostly used superstructures on series tanks suspensions. Only the US made TDs with rotating turrets.

  • Dear Santa...

  • now thats an impressive model...

  • Nice vid

  • @Dreachon only one KV-2 made it well. If you go check the history of the KV-2 tank, there were slight changes from one tank another, it seems that only one of them had a superior design. The Russians, if they wanted or had the time, they could have it better built, but the idea here was to counter-attack the enemy as fast as possible, so the T34 was probably the answer. The KV-2 was too expensive, complicated to maneuver and prone to mechanical breakdowns.

  • @Nickael7 the thing was a gimmick, just to mount a big howitzer to blow up stationary targets. The turret was so heavy you could barely rotate it on a hill for gods sake

  • @icantfindanamex86, Well it did its job back where the KV was the king of the battle in operation Barbarossa. KV-2 was not made to go in hills, but of flat terrain its a different story.

  • @Nickael7 and you had to change the gears with a hammer... The transmission was so bad!

  • It is said that there was one time a king tiger fired its 88mm gun on it. The shell just bounced off the Kv-2 leaving the krauts in fear.

  • @HEAVYHEART96 Nice Soviet Propaganda!!! I mean UNBELIEVABLE! It made the most feared gun of WWII look like a toy! WOW!

  • @pjshotingstar

Not sure were you get that crazy idea, by 1943 the germans had guns that could kill a tank from between 2000 and 3000m.

  • @Dreachon A Tiger 1 shot at aT-34 at a range of 3900metres on one occasion and got a kill!

  • @mikeandhev

Interesting, the only kills that i have aware of at over the 3000m, which by itself is even by today's standard a very long range were the 8.8cm L71 and the 12.8cm L55 guns, got a source for that tiger kill.

  • @pjshotingstar Please say NO to drugs!!

  • @HEAVYHEART96

I'd say that that is just a fat lie, the king tiger could penetrate 132mm of armour sloped at 30 degree at a distance of 2000m.

Given that the KV-2 had only 75mm of armour sloped at 30 degree I fail to see how it would bounce off.

Also by the time the KT saw action the KV-2 had been long pulled out of service.

  • @HEAVYHEART96 Hahahahha 88 flak round bounce? Have you seen how big those things are? No way 88's don't bounce.

  • 1400 dollars?geez rally cars are like 85 bucks and a million times more fun?

  • I used to build KV's back in the '70's in 1/76 scale - the old Fujimi kits. This brings back memories. Thanks.

Maybe I'll get one of these for old times sake.

  • ww2 tank with 150-mm gun! H0ly sh!t !!!

  • @Scoutrussp7 the german jagedtiger had 182 ;)

  • Nice TANK!It's to big enemy will see it much faster! But I love it!=)

  • Great video.

  • kv-2 is good in destroying tiger 1 in long range combat but not really accurate though

  • Wow, nice tanks, nice video. I want one.

  • nice and first
