HP alone does NOT make a super car and a solid rear axle is for horse drawn carriage's. Although this car is awesome, its more of showcar then anything else. In a medieval car like this you just wouldn't be able to use the HP. A tuned M5 or or GTR will run circles around this thing. It's good for the tire industry though, that's for sure.

@W4TCH4W Because normal Mustangs still weigh quite a lot and because they weigh a lot and have heaps of power they don't have very good suspension and brakes so the can't hold it all down so the car can't handle it all, However they Super Snake version of the car is much better it has a lighter engine new suspension and brakes and they are actually pretty good. So the end result means the GT500 Super Snake can get good lap times while the normal Mustang doesn't get very good lap times.
Super Snake package does make it a really good car normal Mustangs are no good because they lack what this one has been given(some better suspension and brakes, from a great package)however as much as I admire this cars history and how much of a real sports car it has become I can't get over the price it's just to steep for me but then i'm only 15 the future might bring me big money but anyway it's a great car a very beautiful car but still a bit to expensive.
I think the Super Snake package is really what makes this car different from other Mustangs because in the past Mustangs have been big heavy Muscle cars with lots of power and no handing, but obviously Ford have really put in effort to make this handle much better and thats really the what makes it a very good car and not just a big loud thing. The package this comes with makes it a decent supercar(not quite M3 stuff but still good)And it also looks very very good same with the engine, beautiful
@mrodredsox13 chevy produced the zl1 in order to compete with the gt500. ford is coming out with a new gt 500 in 2013 and it will have 650hp according to what ive read. now they made an 800hp monster before the release of the base gt500. chevy has once again eaten shit.

Also, how you need to avoid every single bump on the road? How about avoiding roads with speed bumps? Although the ZR1 is a street car, you can't drive it everywhere. I like the look of the Super Snake but not the normal Mustangs, they just don't have that muscle feel, and without the muscle the Mustang is nothing, also I think their starting to really over do it with the HP, it's way too much for a car that doesn't really handle to well. Either way this Mustang looks sweet.

I am amazed how mustangs can have so much horsepower and not be so fast in relation.
I mean 550 hp shelby gt runs 12 seconds barely while the camaro with 420 hp can run it mid 12's stock or 392 challenger with 470 hp ( with extra 400 pound weight ) can run 12.4 stock
I am not hating the mustang just wondering why can't it use the hp it has more efficiently?

@W4TCH4W Because normal Mustangs still weigh quite a lot and because they weigh a lot and have heaps of power they don't have very good suspension and brakes so the can't hold it all down so the car can't handle it all, However they Super Snake version of the car is much better it has a lighter engine new suspension and brakes and they are actually pretty good. So the end result means the GT500 Super Snake can get good lap times while the normal Mustang doesn't get very good lap times.

Super Snake package does make it a really good car normal Mustangs are no good because they lack what this one has been given(some better suspension and brakes, from a great package)however as much as I admire this cars history and how much of a real sports car it has become I can't get over the price it's just to steep for me but then i'm only 15 the future might bring me big money but anyway it's a great car a very beautiful car but still a bit to expensive.

I think the Super Snake package is really what makes this car different from other Mustangs because in the past Mustangs have been big heavy Muscle cars with lots of power and no handing, but obviously Ford have really put in effort to make this handle much better and thats really the what makes it a very good car and not just a big loud thing. The package this comes with makes it a decent supercar(not quite M3 stuff but still good)And it also looks very very good same with the engine, beautiful

@mrodredsox13 chevy produced the zl1 in order to compete with the gt500. ford is coming out with a new gt 500 in 2013 and it will have 650hp according to what ive read. now they made an 800hp monster before the release of the base gt500. chevy has once again eaten shit.
