  • Your video hits upon an essential truth about Republican scare mongering - That everyone who is not Republican is branded a "Socialist", a "Communist" and "Unamerican", and latterly a "terrorist", a "muslim"and an "illegal alien" etc etc.

The talk radio personailities, some of which you mention, play upon these ignorant fears and lies by constantly reciting these buzz word labels in order to instil fear.

It would be laughable if it were not so effective.

  • im bored on cam

    SOMEONE TALK TO ME gi

  • " It has been said on talk shows" are you kidding me? so that makes it so? As for Hillery, she would have been great! maybe like Bill, we`ll never know. Things were good when he was in. Obama, EVEN BETTER! I knew bush would bring this country to its knees, and he sure DID! I still can`t believe he got re-elected legally.

  • Obama is no worse than Bush, he is exactly the same as Bush, just as McCain is exactly the same as Bush. You said yourself that there was little difference between the policies of the Bushes and Clinton, and it is absolutely true. Both parties are pretty much the same now, they advocate the same policies, with meaningless tweaks, and they represent the same interests, which have nothing to do with the interests of the American people.

  • another great video, sir

  • Oh yeah and SA seems to be a very wise man indeed much enjoyed these vids. Looks a little like Zorg from Fifth Element, but still...

  • Hillary was more of a Fabian school socialist, Barack Hussin Obama is definitely more pure Marxist-Leninist with possibly some Stalin/Mao style "cult-of-personality" thrown in. VERY frightening. We must not focus, too much, on his radical Islamic roots or his weird name but on his militant neo-MarxistLeninism and this scary cult-of-personality movement. BHO will use his Muslim cohorts to further his agenda, but his PRIMARY agenda is a worldwide communist goal worthy of inclusion in the COMINTERN

  • It is nice that you have heard of the Fabian Society and the Comintern but you are still a nutcase.

Neither Democrat proposes nationalisation of businesses or serious redistribution of income (remember the highest marginal tax rate under Eisenhower was 93%). Both H and O are part of the cosmopolitan neoliberal elite . . . as are the main national Republicans (minus Huckabee).

  • Maxine Waters just the other day in the hearings said she wanted to nationalise the petroleum companies. BHO has talked about the issue but is smart enough not to wear his fellow-traveller beliefs on his sleeve! Hillary was Fabian and recognised, rightly, that the most effective way to implement her socialist goals was through pragmatic and incremental means. Remember how the EU grew? From coal treaty to super police state through incrementalism and slowly, bureaucratically.

  • Yes, I could only dream that the US would be smart enough to nationalise its oil industry. It works great in Norway now and is necessary to remove the threat to national security stemming from a huge cartel with massive political influence wanting to expand by controlling more land and seawater both here and overseas. However, the Democrats suck too much to do this and as the EU grows bureaucratically its pro-business directives mandating the end of national regulations multiply.

  • Statol is not "nationalised" the same way in which Mexico, Argentina, etc handle nationalisation. Norway is SMART because it signs good contracts with Shell,Esso, etc but, more importantly, uses their income wisely (invests it and doesn't waste it.) Alaska, for example, just "cuts a check" years to the residents (which is likely wasted.) Norway invests it and doesn't just "cut a check". Now Norways fields are in decline they still have funds. EU is stupid and evil. Norway is smart not to join!

  • Southern Avenger do u think if Obama picked Jim Webb as a Veep he could have a better chance?

  • Great call, Mr. Southern Avenger. I'm not sure if Obama is out of touch enough to make the Republicans accusations of him seem plausible, but I think there are very few left who will be taken in by the line that he's vastly more liberal than McCain.

From what I could see at the Texas state Republican convention, McCain has scant support, and the already shrunken Republican party is, at least in Texas, where it may be strongest, also a deeply divided party. Time to re-think what we stand for.

  • Both sides point at the other and try to scare the populace. Effectively though, there isn't much of a difference between the two. If you want real change go for Barr or Paul. If you want more of the same, it doesn't really make much of a difference whether it is McCain or Obama.

  • I couldn't disagree more about having no choice but to vote "for the lesser of two evils!" It's time for us to think outside the box and get involved in getting a new message out. We need to campaign against the mainstream media, the political darlings of the establishment and our own apathy and inaction! The Southern Avenger is using his talent to make a difference right now! It's called education (or getting the truth out)!

  • Great tuber SA!

  • Trust me Americans, it's the same in Britain. All our three main parties - The Labour Party, the Conservative Party and the Liberal Democrats are all virtually the same. They all seem to be Pro-European Union and only whinge on about the enviroment. No difference between Gordon Brown or David Cameron really. It seems they are all Globalists wanting to get this world government idea of theirs working. I hate to admit it but from the U.S to Britain, that seems to be the sad truth.

  • You are right, as with all bad political and economic trends, you are just a few years behind America. The biggest difference I have heard from Brit parties is how many days precisely you can hold suspected terrorists without a charge.

  • Just as the USA has, essentially, eliminated many tenets of our Constitution and Bill of Rights the British have, effectively, eliminated the Magna Carta and eliminated their civil rights and, even worse, have, basically, given their control over to unelected EU bureacrats, bankers, and judges in Brussels,Luxembourg, and Strasbourg!!

  • Its a shame, but seems the EU is destroying itself by being so openly and obnoxiously undemocratic, and agressivly resistant to calls for transparency and corruption probes. The wheels will soon come off as far as the british are concerned.

  • Another great post.I couldn't agree more. I'll be voting for neither. It sucks that I essentially have to throw my vote away.

  • I think Hillary is farther to the left than Obama personally. Although there isn't much of a difference, they're both hawkish and advocates for big government.

  • Another excellent video. The fact is that right now there is very little difference between the Republicans and Democrats. It is time to give a third party a serious look, and I would recommend taking a look at the Constitution Party. It is the fastest growing third party, and they hold to the traditionally conservative values once held by the Republicans. Chuck Baldwin is their nominee. He is and has been a big supporter of Ron Paul. Check it out.

  • Yes she is, by far.

  • 4:07 Did you draw the horns and pitchfork on the McCain picture or were those already there? :)

So who do you think is the "lesser of the two evils" - McCain or Obama?

I think it was a few days ago Ron Paul dropped out of the race, so who do you think is the best candidate for a true conservative to choose now? Thanks and good video (once again).

  • Bob Barr.

  • Chuck Baldwin in my opinion. He tends to get a little bogged down in social conservatism (and a theocratic agenda), but he seems to share most of the tenets of Ron Paul's unique paleo-libertarian-conservatism.

  • Ron Paul. Even if he only took 1% I would feel like I had added to the movement. It's ether vote for Ron Paul or stay home. Because I'm not voting for ether of those bad guys.

  • My questions were addressed to S.A. (Where are you??), but thanks to all of you for the reply!

I'm not impressed by either of the 2 choices...but that's nothing new. It seems like it's the "lesser of the 2 evils" again.

It's like a vote for anyone else is a waste unless it's just to prove a point/show that you don't like the main two.

Perhaps one day...S.A. will run. I think he'll be the minimum age to run next year, but he'd have to wait for awhile.

  • Given a choice between a tax-and-spend liberal Democrat and a tax-cut-and-borrow-and-spend faux-conservative Republican, I'll take the former. In this case O'bama at least taught Constitutional Law and has a reputation as at least being willing to listen to the other side. I may not agree with him, but I can at least respect that...

I sincerely hope that O'bama picks Senator Nunn--a distant relative--as his running mate.

  • Excellent...as always. I still wish I could hear your show here in NY. Bush is going to be a hard one to beat for the "Worst President This Century" award, thats for sure. But I think Both Candidates will give it their best shot.

  • they both suck. I am a life long Republican and would sooner vote for Ralph Nader than either obama or mccain. At least with Nader, we'd likely get back to the the rule of law.

  • I see that roused a few feathers here but thats fine with me, Im sick of self-proclaied Republicans attacking McCain and even defending Obama. You would do well to consider the consequences of your actions and not just think with your emotions and dont be so rigid on ideals this is the real world we are dealing with, fyi it often sucks.

  • FYI, there are more than two approaches to the real world.

  • thats nice and true but only one party is going to win the next presidential election. Lamentable as it may be to be so reduced it is the real situation.

You cant play an ace if you weren't dealt an ace. Despising the hand dealt is fine but not a winning strategy. Yes winning matters.
