  • what about an oven??

  • lol human programming

  • where can i buy stickers for my cube? mine are starting to peel off.

  • @multigamingkid cubesmith

  • i don't know why but i really like this cube, especially after it was made to work awesomely

  • do it to a 6 color dayan cube

  • is that sims 2 on your back??

  • @CSmodder and we can see a Square-1 too :D

  • ... lol he's wearing sandals. cuz he's hardcore.

  • You should totally name it the B-Cube.

  • oh gee! Ill try this mod with my guhong in the microwave!

  • Whats that blinking think in the background towards the bottom right/middle area?

    (it has a 1x3, and 3x3 block of blinking lights)

  • this is really interesting to watch..

  • The cube from hell

  • sims 2 lol

  • 1:41 Ugh inconsistent formatting. Also, I don't see a function name and type/declaration. And I believe that cin.get is a function, and needs parentheses. One final note, the variable adult was never declared.

  • Harhar 2:43

  • you gave me an idea, why cant blind people enjoy the rubiks cube like us? i could make a colourless BRAIL CUBE!!!

  • @DoctorSaqib they have those... you just blind fold yourself

  • Weed burner?

  • @maskedman381 its a propane flamethrower burning weeds, branches, etc

  • Kind of a late response, but I put dirt into any rubiks brand and break it in for about 10 minutes. then i wash the cube out and assemble it (wet or dry) and break it in more. Then I sand down a little on the corners and lube the cube with jig a loo. Worked out great overall!

  • do a solve

  • why were u holding ur privates when ur bro was doing the burning, is that a safety precurtion or what...

  • what kind of multi tool is that?

  • you have sims2? haha good game (:

  • hey Thrawst wy not put tiny chuncks of hard rock in a 3x3. i tryed it and naow it turnd great

  • Comment removed

  • I see a leatherman juice up there

  • 1:37 WTF?

  • you should have left the stickers on, then it would have (maybe) melted them onto the cube so they dont peel off

  • hey i also just found

    a similar mod ;)

    go check it out =)

    hope it helps ;)

  • nice sandals

  • Nice leatherman juice

  • I don't think that's a mod sorry.

  • End product looks like a Rubik's Cake mini

  • instead of using the "burnt cube" mod to a brand new one try doing the mod to a somewhat broken in cube.

  • 1:41 The human programming code... Thrawst is trying to mind control you!

  • like?

  • never try this on white cubes

    it may leave ugly brown burnt marks.

    so yeah. just my ten cents

  • Hey Thrawst, I got a question for you...I've been using some of ur videos (siamese to be exact along with a few others) and I was wondering if you know anyone or if you yourself know how to make a mod for the 3x3x3 such as the barrel cubes and what not? Try and get back to me as soon as possible, thanks. -blackbeltmaniac

    (p.s. for anyone who looks at my youtube channel, its new and i have no videos as of yet)

  • I am unaware how to make those mods, from what i know it has to do with cutting things up and filling the empty spaces with something.

    send me a message next time. I'm much less likely to answer your question via comment.

  • @blackbeltmaniac Lancetheblueknight knows how to make a barrel cube.

  • definitely a mod.

  • haha.u play sims?

  • HEy guys i broke one piece of my 4x4 rubiks brand and im lm wondering if i can just get the piece or do i have to buy a new one

  • try cubesmith?

  • mod is obviously short for modification which im sure you already knew so yea call it a mod

  • you should paint it

  • shouldn't that be return 0;

  • @Sephi1n6 no, return 1 means to return to option 1. In this case its { if(age<18........

    so it wil continue asking the age untill u say ur over 18

  • @Amokalypsed Umm... no, it's not. Maybe your thinking of a different language? return 0; (or return 1;) is the command to end the function. Since the function isn't being used anywhere else, it doesn't really matter what value it returns, so both return 0; and return 1; would work.

  • @Sephi1n6 return 0; and return 1; would both work. Since the function isn't being used anywhere else, it doesn't really matter what value it returns, so both return 0; and return 1; would work. Even something like return 185; would work.

  • 1:38 the if and else block in computer programming lol

    are you a computer programmer and a rubik's cuber at the same time like badmephisto or me?

  • not exactly, I'm really terrible at the big code stuff.

  • me and my friend tried to sandblast a cube so that each side is different but it didnt work

  • uhm.. useless.. waste of time mod of my life.

  • What is the flashy squarey thing in the background near the end?

  • its a clock

  • it looks like something you'd find at the Flinstone's house :)

  • what does that stuff on the screen mean at 1:40

  • that the code to embed or edit a video in bt he messed up

  • call it a tweak or vismod or visual mod

  • i took a power screwdriver with a square hole big enough to fit one layer of a 3x3. i set the screwdriver to top speed and the plastic joined togethor. after "unjoining" the plastic, the cube was somewhat better. i think this is similar to ur mod. =D

  • its a mod in my opinion. if its modified, its a mod. lol awesome idea

  • supose you put tiles on it and then "burned" it. Would the heat melt the tiles into the cube? That'd be a pretty nice permanently sticking sticker

  • that prob wouldnt work, but why dont you try it yourself? I think the color would still wear off which is why people buy tiles in the first place.

  • C++!

  • Comment removed

  • um, it's a programing language, like C, or Javascript...

  • You shouldm do this to other puzzles... burminx?

  • why dont you make solve vidoe"S anymore??

  • My R3 is my best one. I hate all other 3x3x3s, no exception.

    Why? Because the mod I developed for it (much different than any others out there) only works on a cube that has tight turning and, to those DIYs out there, CAN HOLD ITSELF TOGETHER in mid-turn.

    I should try this and see how it works out for me!

  • HAHA programming language!! I'm pretty good in Java, but i was wondering whether this was java, or maybe of the C languages? thanks man, looks like there's something else we have in common(other than cubes).

    {

    c.println ("Programming is for cool people!");

    }

  • C++ I believe.

  • u should of put textured tiles on it so it can all be textured

  • I was expecting a transformation or something, but this is still cool

  • oh yeah my rubiks brand was so good out of the box i could get like sub 40s (my average time) and then i filed, lubed etc and then sub 30s...

    unfortunately i left it on the plane....

  • hey man u prolly shouldnt do that because if u breath in anough burt plasticc it will kill u

  • They are outside its practically impossible to inhale that much when its circulating through the air.

  • lol call it the fire cube or the heat cube :D

  • mod=modify...im fairly sure you modified the cube but i may be wrong?

  • no one says the full word anymore :P

  • i have an idea for your burnt cube! (without the burning) heat up the plastic slowly and press the cubies on something like sandpaper to get the texture you are looking for. just an idea

  • @Thrawst can i use a blow dryer on high

  • i think a fire extinguisher would help too

  • my speed cube is a rubiks store bought.

    sub 11 avg of 12 FTW!

  • i can tell cause of the way your stickers peel off they have that clear layer on top

  • Go sims 2!

  • Is it competition legal?

  • no, you cant have textured stickers/cubes...

  • I dont think so. Each side needs to feel the same and cant have a diff texture on different cubie, or cant have anything so you can identify a piece just by feeling it.

    Its understandable for blind solves, but I think all the qualifications of a cube are the same for each type of competition.

    For now im gonna say no.

    You can read other regulations on the WCA site.

    Good question btw.

  • Thanks, I have read the regulations twice, but I forget.

    Good answer.

  • I think that'd probably be better painted!

  • I'm not cool . . . -_-

    But that seems awesome. I wonder where I can get my hands on a weed burner . . .

  • ebay...

  • i just would call it random shapeshiftingcube which its shape in the outcome is to hard to predict

  • c++ ftw XD

  • u dont seem to happy with how it came out lol

  • lol, soon to be computer engineer? I can't wait for the speed tips!

  • Dude that is so cool that another cuber knows c++ I am also learning it

  • its a mod cuz ur MODifying its shape kind of

  • its a mod

  • C++ or Perl?

  • wait, do you program? What languages do you know?

  • cool!

  • haha 1:41 code

  • it is c++

  • so am i! but i cant find a free compiler.. help?

  • Google "Bloodshed c++" that one's pretty decent.

  • oh wow, thanks! it works well.

  • yh i know

  • call it like a meltie 3x3x3 cube

  • haha, i think it's halfway between a mod and a "non-mod" or however you would say it. i accidentally did the same thing to my really good storebought when i had superglued tiles to it and when i took it off, the adhesive was still there, so i had to sand it all off and it looks like there a lot of bumps on it:P

  • Awesome!

    And i would call it a mod because you changed it (modified) to make it better

  • C++ ^^

  • Haha, I liked that little script telling viewers below the age of 18 to get supervision from an adult. Nerds rule!!!

  • A mod is when you modificate a cube. Not persé to make it better. This is definitely a mod.

  • @smartboy7 i think the word you want is modify not modificate...

  • Comment removed

  • Damn, my evil plan failed! Now I'm an idiot!

    C'mon, I'm a 15 year old Dutch kid. It was an error in my understanding of this language. Modify, okay?

  • sorry, it is modify though

  • haha evil plan to correct people? i believe you have succeeded in failing to do so.

  • Comment removed

  • You have failed in paying attention in what happened.

    I DID correct him, and then removed my comment when he responded to me that he understood my correction.

    Now, where is the "failing to correct"-part?

  • Modificate. Tell me you were joking about that.

  • I probably picked that up somewhere and learned it.

    Can we stop talking about this? Or do you like trolling the interwebz?

  • Sorry I was joking it wasn't in any way a taunt

  • Oh, okay. My previous comment is removed.

  • I like your clock in the background :O

  • you should sand the weird shapes and make it neat and break it in to see how it might work out. I have a funny feeling that it could be a rather good cube:)

  • mod to make it feel nicer :)

  • Toast Cube

  • Damn you, you said what I was going to say first! ;-) Although technically, I was going to say it ever so slightly differently. I think it should be called the Toasted Cube. ;-p

  • LOL, C++ coding.

    BTW, good video :)

  • C++, nice.

  • Cool! Trawst has the Sims 2, so I'm assuming he plays it. That's my second favorite game. (My first being The Sims 3...)

  • very cool! i want to try this now.

    but by weed burner, im assuming you mean weed as the annoying plant that grows in your garden and takes nutrients from your plants.

    not like marijuana.

    lol

  • why don't you make solve videos anymore

  • that cube looks gross after haha

  • definitely a mod ;)

  • yea
