Hey, such a wonderful video of your work! I am always afraid to put my work online, since I feel someone might steal it, but I suppose since this is all commission it's alright for you. :)

I particularly like the idea of the lamp (around 2:50) using calligraphy letters. I've been making boxes and books, but a lamp seems to be very unique! I hope you don't mind if I take that idea and improve on it!

Nice calligraphy. Unfortunately, you don't seem to care about typography which is - in my opinion - important as well.

In Blackletter typefaces, one should really use the longs-s and ligatures such as ch and ck.

I am not much of a calligrapher, but I've had some training in the subject, and I have also taught a few beginner's courses. The video was excellent -- I especially enjoyed the close-ups further on, because there you could see the precise lines. Impressive, methinks.

I am a calligrapher as well. I thought myself to be fairly skilled at it (but with room for improvement). After watching your video, I see I have a longggg way to go. You are talented and inspiring. thank You all for Your comments, hmmm the pen is very important but without practice its all for nothing. I've had no classess with calligraphy cuz there are no such in poland :( its hard to get pens, inks and stuff cuz its not so popular like it is in US or England or Germany.but I try to popularize it. I study industrial and communication design and I gratuated from artistic highschool, but calligraphy is my hobby and sometimes its well paid :)

ćwiczę codziennie-zawodowo od około 1,5 roku, ale interesowałem się tym już 9 lat temu (kiedy zacząłem naukę w liceum plastycznym), da się z tego żyć jeśli się to łączy z innymi dziedzinami (plakat, ilustracja, komunikacja wizualna) ale z samej kaligrafii też (zaproszenia ślubne, księgi pamiątkowe...)
