Me stuck in a dimension fighting off some big ass demon forever battling
don't know why just makes me think of that I can't fight worth anything, nor do I have special powers in my fantasy, but the demon/creature sure does and since he has nothing else to fight or feed energy from for an eternity we continue to fight I just keep getting stronger.

@MegamanX20100 I get why he did it, to make him look bigger, but the thing is giga bowser looks way to different. A regular Dark Bowser mighta worked. Point is its a big bowser, he's dark, and there epic music in the background. Good enough for me.

Amen! Although I do agree with the first half as well. Maybe there could've been a better way to simulate it with Mushrooms, but I'll take what I can get.
@sonicmike1995 And here I am, waiting for M&L 4. Hopefully it gets harder again. I found BIS way too easy, especially after its predecessor, PiT. The music was great, but not its difficulty.
@MegamanX20100 I played through both. The first was pretty fun. Most GBA and GC games weren't the best-looking, but were really fun. PiT was surprisingly hard. Sadly, BIS was just...eh :/ it got easy after a while. The shrooms were kinda hard, but after losing once and memorizing the pattern, even the hardest battle in the game was a piece of cake. M&L 4 better be as hard as the first 2. Screw 3D graphics, I want the awsome gameplay.
@sonicmike1995 I agree with you every step of the way. Gameplay first, graphics later. Unfortunately most of my young generation gets a game as to its face value. That's why they'll say they've "out-grown" Nintendo and it's a piece of crap. Yet it's perfectly fine for them to be playing other "kid-friendly" games on an XBox 360, because of the "better graphics." Unfortunately for us, gaming graphics is making the market now. It's not bad, but it shouldn't be top priority.
@MegamanX20100 Horrible example, but Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and 3. Ok. So it's the same engine. So nobody wants it anymore? -_- It's better, isnt it? New stuff? DLC? Special Ops makes a Zombie-fied comeback? Mario and Luigi stayed 2D. Gameplay isnt that good, but hey, Graphics actually didn't come first for them. Pokemon got new sprites. Still bad 2D graphics. Now lets look at the bad. Crash Bandicoot is a young maniac who rides monsters. Spyro uses fists over fire. Now, he's a toy -_-
@sonicmike1995 To be honest, I rarely take graphics into consideration. This is coming from a young teenager who happened to have an NES and a Sega Genesis way before anything. I love how some people now say the Wii has crappy graphics. I don't know how they would survive without the most modern game or gaming console. I have an XBox 360 as well, but I don't use it much, due to the fact that I'm not willing to get every new game, and I got that to play with my friends. A waste
@MegamanX20100 Oh no, I love good graphics, dont get me wrong. What I hate is when a game has insanely awsome, never before seen, realitic graphics...but the game is a 5-minute, easy to beat peice of crap. It's gotta gave gameplay. A story. Secrets. All that good stuff that made the old games good. I have a PS3 too. That doesn't mean I dont pick up my PSP or play my N64 every now and then. Classics will always be awsome, cuby or not.

@MegamanX20100 I had the choice of Skyrim, Battlefield 3, or Call of Duty MW3. Making a semi-smart decision, I choose the only game on sale, that looked good, and played good. Sonic Generations. Yeah. A kid's game. And? I pick based off the gameplay mostly, and even though it's cartoonish graphics, its what appealed to me the most, for half the price of the games I said earlier. My opinion? Completely worth the buy. Screenshots and videos don't sell the game. The game should sell the game.
@sonicmike1995 Exactly, and that's what I said a while back. Screenshots definitely don't sell the game, but videos aren't useless. Although they won't sell me into it 100%, videos can help you see the gameplay, in case you don't have a chance to try it. And also another person who likes Sonic Generations! I'm surely gonna get it now. I've been doubtful of Sega after Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle), after they took Sonic in an odd direction. Generations has to save my trust.

Black Knight was too slow. Colors took too much thought for a platformer. It's Sonic + Zelda. Generations is much faster, and nostalgic. Thatll sell the game to more people. It worked on me obviously. I have to say, its gameplay is actually really good compared to the first 4 forward-moving Sonic games.
@sonicmike1995 I've gotta confess that I didn't like even the day levels in Unleashed. I did not like the fact that you are essentially unable to stop. This is why SA2 (Battle) was my last liked game. After having seen some gameplay though, I can see that it's reverted back to that SA2 (Battle)-style gameplay, where exploration was available during the stages. I'm so far sold on it, especially since it does look like it brings back past nostalgia.
@MegamanX20100 You could stop. Just...yeah, not easily. In Generations, you can stop immediately, turn around, and walk around the level. It's not exactly like Sonic Adventure or 06, but it is a little adventurous, while mixing elements from Modern Sonics forward games. And it's extremely nostalgic. Makes me wanna play through SA2 all over again.
It is a shame, I feel, that Dark Bowser is a bit too easy- his body has just 1000 HP, but that also means you can keep letting Fawful revive him and keep on pummelling him .
I actually grinded enough in this game to beat this boss in three turns. One to get the 1k hp needed to punch the dark fawfulstar out (Using Broggy), then to inhale it, then one for the Mario Bros. to finish him off (with Magic Mirror).
Tempered from all the defeats from Mario's own hands, does Bowser, the powerful Koopa King, have the brute strength and Koopa resources to overcome his dark self? Only time will tell!

After years of pathetic failure, ineptitude, half-hearted attempts at taking things he didn't even fully understand, coming in at the stupidest possible times, I never thought I could regain my respect for the biggest failure in all video games. Not only did Bowser's Inside Story renew my respect, it made me think of him as one of the most awesome characters to ever be written. He is truly a fearsome unrelenting foe. Anyone who can come back from having a castle dropped on him should be feared.
Nice and interesting to see him star in his own game too. Yes, I personally feel he was the main character in this game. A lot of the action revolved around him and inside him as well.
@TheDisarminghinkle Don't forget a robot and a train did the exact same thing to him, which i recorded every time (Castle: 2. Robot: 2. Train: 1. Tower: 1.). The two robots was the tower robot and the Fawful-Peach's Castle Robot
@TheDisarminghinkle If you think about it, Bowser is actually incredibly successful! for everytime mario defeats bowser, mario probly dies a couple hundred times trying to reach him lol
@TheDisarminghinkle The character has always been awesome, the problem is that, unless he's on Mario's side (Super Mario RPG, Super Paper Mario, Bowser's Inside Story) he doesn't get that much screentime, nor that much development.
When seen in a protagonist perspective, Bowser is quite endearing, it just doesn't show in games he's the villain.
@TheDisarminghinkle Bowser has his own army, kindgom, kids and is, essentially, immortal. If he weren't a goof at times, he'd be the scariest villain in Nintendo's roster.

@XAlphaChaosX Yoko Shimomura is a genius. She is the one who composed the music for the Mario & Luigi RPG series, as well as Kingdom Hearts, and several other games. And judging by what I have heard so far from some of aforementioned games, she knows exactly what she's doing. This remix by Logan289 is epic beyond epic. I could listen to it for hours. In fact, I already did... :)

After years of pathetic failure, ineptitude, half-hearted attempts at taking things he didn't even fully understand, coming in at the stupidest possible times, I never thought I could regain my respect for the biggest failure in all video games. Not only did Bowser's Inside Story renew my respect, it made me think of him as one of the most awesome characters to ever be written. He is truly a fearsome unrelenting foe. Anyone who can come back from having a castle dropped on him should be feared.

Nice and interesting to see him star in his own game too. Yes, I personally feel he was the main character in this game. A lot of the action revolved around him and inside him as well.

@TheDisarminghinkle Don't forget a robot and a train did the exact same thing to him, which i recorded every time (Castle: 2. Robot: 2. Train: 1. Tower: 1.). The two robots was the tower robot and the Fawful-Peach's Castle Robot

@TheDisarminghinkle The character has always been awesome, the problem is that, unless he's on Mario's side (Super Mario RPG, Super Paper Mario, Bowser's Inside Story) he doesn't get that much screentime, nor that much development.
When seen in a protagonist perspective, Bowser is quite endearing, it just doesn't show in games he's the villain.

@XAlphaChaosX Yoko Shimomura is a genius. She is the one who composed the music for the Mario & Luigi RPG series, as well as Kingdom Hearts, and several other games. And judging by what I have heard so far from some of aforementioned games, she knows exactly what she's doing. This remix by Logan289 is epic beyond epic. I could listen to it for hours. In fact, I already did... :)
