How in the hell do people evade dogfights so damn fast? Every time i get in a dogfight i bring the jet at a complete stop somtimes stalling so i can do the "move" and it wont work. But every single time i get in a dogfight then seem to leave the fight as soon as i start it.. Then they get a lock on me and i can't evade it and i'm always the one that dies. How in the hell could i actually win a fight??
Im so glad my dads an f-18 pilot for the navy... All the time i get to go to the $20 million dollar simulator and i must say it is way better than video games... Good vid though :)

The AIM-120 Accuracy to the Stealth Aircraft is About 50% to 70% since radar is poor to hit a Stealth Fighter.

@whitesox889 who do you think was the first to use Thrust Vectoring, first one was the F-15 STOL/MTD with the 3D Thrust Vector (better then the F-22s 2D) but only produced just for testing of coarse. If the F-15 STOL/MTD, was fully developed into a combat jet then it would have been taking out F-22s easily in a dogfight.
Also I hear they're going to stop buying F-22 to get the F-15 SE, so guessing the F-22 are not going to take the F-15s place anymore.

And the other guy that said F-15 is better than F-22 no matter what...well, the F-22, when it was in devolpement, had certain things it had to be able to do. it had to be fast, manuverable, stealth that is invisable to radar or at least super hard to pick up, and it had to be able to handle the F-15's usual payload. The F-22 specificly replaces the F-15.
@StarkJJ Actually F-22 is like a sniper, it will get you down before you can see or detect it. However, the F-22 may not be the best dog fighter since it is so vulnerable, even a 50 cal can shot it down. Good video though

You clearly know nothing. The F-22 has vertical thrust vectoring, giving it more maneuverability over the F-15, which doesn't have thrust vectoring. If you don't know what thrust vectoring is, Google it.
F-15 combat kill ratio: 104 - 0 and that's in real combat not training exercises not saying anything bad about the F-22 but it has yet to prove itself in real live combat. what looks good on paper isn't necessarily a reality.

You're claiming that a simulated exercise will not provide enough experience compared to someone in an actual battle experience. I say differently. During the Vietnam War, the US Airforce was receiving a 1 kill: 1 death ratio. So they created Operation Red Flag, where pilots go through 10 SIMULATED exercises. The result, the ratio increased far in America's favor.

your analogies are completely differnt from the real situation. The combat that they did was exactly the same other than real missles it was simulated missles. Even with simulated missile the pilots of the f-15 said they never even saw the raptor and im sure u cant shoot down something you cant see.

what a lame rebuttal did you run out of real arguments . people in a firefight with real guns vs people in a firefight with paintball guns yields one major difference the lethality of the weapons i'm not saying the two are equal in fact i'm noting the differences what i'm doing is likening your simulated combat scenario with the paintball match and a real combat situation with a plane yo a real combat situation with people with guns. in both instances one is real the other is not

So you honestly believe that an airplane that won a fight when out numbered 8:1 and that pilots of the f-15 said the f-22 was superior u think the f-22 is better.

i never said the F-15 is superior all i said is that it is a battle tested aircraft that has proven itself time and time again in live fire combat situations against enemies that were trying to kill them and in arias where surface to air missiles could take them out at any time. the F-22 although superior is not needed at this time and we can only hope it performs in real life as well as it did in a controlled testing environment

Yes it can. During the Vietnam War the ratio of planes shot compared planes lossed was 1:1.
Then America came up with the Red Flag Exercises, 6 weeks of realistic training exericses, and the rate skyrocketed in America's favor.

You're claiming that a simulated exercise will not provide enough experience compared to someone in an actual battle experience. I say differently. During the Vietnam War, the US Airforce was receiving a 1 kill: 1 death ratio. So they created Operation Red Flag, where pilots go through 10 SIMULATED exercises. The result, the ratio increased far in America's favor.

I think you can have up to 16 at once. 8 on 8 for team. Not sure about battle royale(free for all).
