How does the Ram Rod Holder hold up? Does the ball and clamp hold rod holder still, even if there was a big fish on? I'm trying to decide between these and the Scotty rod holders.

Pros. Stable, fast, hands free to fish, plenty of below deck storage. Relatively dry ride.

Cons. Expensive.
