I would no doubt get a thunder 50 or a rockerverb 100. The rockerverb has more balls the thunderverb has better low end. That said my 100 has gobs of that also. I will never play anything else but an orange now that i have one. They sound great at any level.

i play in an infest meets eyehategod kinda band, im in the market for an orange, that i will be running through two emperor 4x12 how do you think the rockerverb will hold up for that kinda style?

Oh it should work out very very well indeed. The Rockerverb 100 is a gain monster and handles sludge well as hell. It's more of a sludge amp than a stoner amp.

@lSTAYHlGH Yes my friend you will love it. I have one and i play everything from eyehategod to buzzoven then stoner stuff like electric wizard,sleep,down,soilent green,acid bath etc, Im in love with the 100 i did not care for the 50watt did not have the balls you will need.

I think your AD30 sounds better honestly. I prefer the tone of your amp. It's more throaty, this amp doesn't seem to have the low end yours does. I could be wrong, I'd have to hear them in person, but from your other videos I prefer your AD30.

@100wattLaneyPower The AD30 is better for my taste. The Rockerverb 100 has more bass at regular volume but when the AD30 is cranked, hell breaks loose and all the low end kicks in. The AD30 has way more buzz, crunch, sustain, vintage tones, everything. The Rockerverb 100 is loud, but it's a hi-gain modern amp.

@otusqueeky1 Yeah I was gonna say it sounds more modern. It doesn't have the honk that your ad30 has. If that makes sense. It's like the distortion particles are less bubbly with the rockerverb. With your Ad30 there is this certain growl that modern voiced amps can't touch.
