I thought removing fan leaves at a late stage retards growth?? Is this just a myth? I am trying to get as much flower with a vertical scrog and I dont flower much at all but i get a lot of density but am afraid to aggressively prune back when the ladies are flowering.

yes veg them for 2 months 18 hours light per day and 6 hours dark. then after 2 months is up set the light back to 12 hours light and 12 hours dark. happy growing!!!

depends if it is indica or sative or a cross listen pure sativa can take 90 days from first pistols to matureity indica only take 60 days from start of pistols and crosses just depends on whitch is dominate like 60/40 sativa probly take a little longer then a 60/40 cross with indica being dominate but it just depends... hope this helped you if just a little bit have any questions i dont know it all but im not a beginer either ill be glad to help if i can :)

depends on how big u want your plant...minimum 7 weeks and ive seen some monsters vegged for 5 months then put outside ....18 hours of light until u wanna flower then cut back light from 18 to 12 hours.

PLEASE HELP. I was attempting to bend my plant today and i accidentally split the entire main stem in half. It was a clean break and went down about half way down. I closed it back together so the 2 pieces are touching. I'm wondering if theres any chance it will survive. The strain is silver pearl, its about 20 days into flowering, & its also topped. Im wondering if i should keep the 2 pieces together or let them grow apart for the remainder. Any and all help appreciated!

if you manage to put it back together and it wasn't broken off completely it will survive but it will be stunned. it will take a little longer to be able to harvest because it wasn't expecting to have to heal its wounds.

if it pinched itself and bent you can take some Popsicle sticks and some tape and mend it back together which will hold it up.

you now have to worry about how much wind is pushing against the plant so it wont break anymore.

ill tell you what id do and have had very good luck with duct tape it and it will live and do just fine no matter the strain all marijuana is a weed and is very hard to kill you have to really neglect it for bad things to happen so tape it up and she'll be fine i hope this helps : )

2 weeks after lollypopping my sour diesel scrog grow it is now throwing fan leaves 6-7 long on 30 in tall plants, wheras before, the biggest fan leaves were only 4-5 inches long

I had to pull a few of them off this morning so that the light could penetrate the canopy. I like to determine when to thin the canopy by the amount of light on the floor, underneath the canopy. i cut the bottom branches and supercrop the tops

I'm a big fan of lollypopping my plants, but I have never heard of plants trying to repair damaged leaves, I have found that once the damage is done the leaf either stays that way or goes downhill as the nitrogen is mined out.......removing fans for light penetration as well as pest/ humidity control is a good idea in a garden of this size though.

There is no cloning without seeding. It is a chicken or the egg kind of thing. If you know someone with some nice girls you can clone. I f not you will find it very hard to make clones without seeds. Very hard indeed.

Its the best when your flowering under CFLs. Check out "The indoor/outdorr medical growers bible" Theres amazing things you can do with lollipopin, super croping, LST, and SCROG
