i use a les paul for alot of rise against songs, try using one of those instead of that guitar les pauls have better sustain so you wont have to go so fast to keep the tune. my Gibson SG does a good job of holding the notes also

In the chorus, just change your rhythm slightly, it matches the drum beat if that helps - and also - when you move to the 466 powerchord (rooting on the A) it should be a 244 rooting on low E, or I think it sounds better that way...but good job!
