question is, can these guys really be called bluegrass, they all have blue grass instruments, but the songs they sing are so far from traditional bluegrass I don't think they fall in that genre
@d983394 Their original songs sounds quite like bluegrass to me. These covers aren't pure bluegrass of course, since they aren't covering bluegrass songs, even if they're trying to give them somewhat of a bluegrass vibe.
You are dumb and they are in fact bluegrass, technically they are "newgrass" a newer form of bluegrass, that has unconventional parts to it. they cover and write quite a few older bluegrass songs. "molly and tenbrooks, rye whiskey. if the sea was whiskey.

Where was this? I saw them in Chicago Sunday and thought I heard this playing on the PA after the show. I was a little bummed they didn't play any Radiohead covers during their set.
