  • I feel like Em doesn't sound right in the bridge. I like how 332010 sounds

  • It is either triplets in 4/4 changing chords every measure, in 6/4 played twice as fast as it would be in 12/8 (Only difference to 12/8 is 6/4 is written as quarter notes instead of eights), 12/8 changing chords once a measure, or (finally) in 6/8 changing chords every 2 measures.

  • many thanks man!

  • 1:26 in video have Dm as 1230xx should be 1320xx :D

  • well i see someone has already pointed this out...meh bad

  • hey whats the strumming pattern on the chords?

  • Thanks much for posting this video. It made learning the song a lot easier.

  • yea its definetly 4/4 with triplets

  • All tutorials should be like this. Thanks!

  • Good job. Thank you.

  • really helpfull

  • there's no debate. it's in 6/8.

    not 3/8.

    or 4/4.

the way the music is phrased makes this evident.

i wish people would stop talking like they knew what they were talking about.

  • it's not in 6/4, it just have groupings that end up on 12 (3 sixteenth notes + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12), and some would then divide that and find 6, ergo the supposedly 6/4 signature. It's probably in 4/4 (count the beats) with triplets, or 3/8..

  • isn't it in 4/4 time?

  • im pretty sure it's in 3/8 or 6/8

  • but they're just triplets. it's in some sort of fourth multiple.

  • yeah, i was listening to it today, it's in 4/4

  • Cheers man! Thanks for posting!

  • nice 1

  • thanks man! you are the best!!!!!

  • Ahhh thank you!

  • Yes, agreed with 'lacross' that the Dm on the bridge shows 1-2-3-0 but should be 1-3-2-0. Other than that, a great, playable method to a song I love - thanks!

  • Prettyyy :) I <3 this song

  • thanks dude

  • how do you play chords on tab?

  • do all the finger placements at once then that will form the chord (:

  • hey i really liked this, but on the bridge, for you Dm chord, i think you may have the B and G strings mixed. but seriously, this is a great video

  • u might as well call it 6/8 time

    two triplets.

  • this is very beautiful.

the intro is so hard because my fingers wont like reach both frets without messing up. UGH

  • It's either in 12/8 or 4/4 time with triplets but definitely not 6/4. Good lesson though.

  • Can you please make an intro to title and registration?? all the other ones are hard 2 understand

  • That's a great lesson dude! Many thanks!!

  • this video has been a huge help for me... thank you so much :D i love that song!

  • thanks so much for this, i couldn't find a really decent tab anywhere, then i saw this. amazing. thanks so much.

  • crap. i really want to learn to play this but i cant really read tabs or real notes... :[

  • okay so i figured out tabs now. ahaha this video is a big help. thanks!!!

  • amazing....can i request the acoustic version of misery buisness

  • thats kinda hard for me but it was great.

  • Thanks man, great lesson.

  • If you want to take it back up an octave, so that it matches piano frequencies, simply capo at 12th fret and use the same tabs. Might be awkward if you are not used to playing so close to the body though...

Or if you agree with Mike here, then it sounds better his way.

  • Can you give the verse/interlude part that is right after the 4x2 measures of the intro? It starts with 4 FGC triplets, but I found 3 differering sources (uTubers) that say the next bar is EGC or EGD or EGE ( the last from user 'cmina').

Btw, it transcribes nicer in 12/8 time signature I think.

  • im not sure if we're talking about the same part...but egc sounds right to me too

  • I'm not sure either anymore, but after a few hours thanks to your video I mastered the intro section. I need sheetmusic, too bad DCfC doens't publish any of their stuff.

  • thank you so much =)

  • i think it's actually in 12/8 time... or triplet 4/4 time

    so it 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a

  • This is amazing!

  • Can you explain a method for figuring out what the tempo of a song is? How can you tell that it's in 6/4?

  • thanks!

    :)

  • Thank you so much!

  • great tute, clear as crystal! thanks a lot

  • wow great job on the tabs mate, they`re absolutely brill.

    Cheers!

    Josh

  • Dude, this is just what I needed -inspiration! Thanks, you've really made my weekend. Keep it up for real

  • hey that is extremely awesome man.Putting the chords on screen was an ingenius idea which makes it so much easier to learn. More people should do that if they're doing covers. Unfortunately i find a lot of people don't want to show others how to play a song though. It sux. Great job

  • What thew fuck I toguht it was kiddies you liked to fiddle with.

  • Your videos are very good :) Thx a lot of them :)

  • thanks for catching that mysql!

  • GREAT Video - i was trying to figure that song out myself, but the Dm chord at the bridge is actually

    E:1-

    B:3-

    G:2-

    D:0-

just in case somewone who wanted to play this wondered, but anyway thanks a lot!
